I have the e-book copy of “Well Fed” (but would love to have a paper copy to hold!), and it is a fantastic cook book. It offers some really practical advice on how to handle the volume of cooking required for eating Paleo round the clock, without being changed to the stove and most recipes have multiple variations. Highly recommend this book! I use it and Everyday Paleo almost everyday!
I am relatively new to the Paleo lifestyle but I absolutely LOVE knowing that I am eating the foods that my body was designed to use for its optimum performance! I am so thankful for resources like everyday paleo which is helping me to be more creative in introducing new foods to my 7 yr old son! I ordered Paleo Pals this week and cannot wait until the cookbook is available! I recently started following “the clothes that makes the girl”, and her book “well fed” will most definitely be my next purchase!
It’s hard to choose just one thing because BP (Before Paleo) my food never EVER tasted so good. Still, the main reason I’m proud to be Paleo is because of the humane ways we treat the animals we eat. Grass-fed, pastured, cage-free … those I can all be on board with.
I actually just bought this book yesterday. As it’s my first cookbook purchase, I’m really looking forward to it.

EverydayPaleo was one of the first of two blogs I started reading that introduced me to the Paleo way of eating. When I came across this methodology of eating, I was 22, feeling suboptimal as a result of late nights, long days at school/work, no exercise but mainly not eating good food. The ‘paleo way’ gave me a new life essentially – how thankful I am for stumbling across it while I’m young! I would love to read Well Fed.

I’m so happy that Paleo is a part of my life. There are so many benefits to eating this way, but the one I’m enjoying the most these days is my acne free face! I will be 40 this year and have battled acne since my 20′s. Since cutting the dairy and grains out of my diet my face looks better than it has in decades! My Paleo cookbook collection is growing (btw I made the Pecan crusted Chicken and the meatballs from Everyday Paleo ~ both recipes were out of this world!) It would be awesome to get my hands on Well Fed.

I am just getting ready to start my new Paleo lifestyle. I had double by-pass open heart surgery on Feb 11, 2010, at age 40! I have struggled with losing weight for a few years now. I have tried many fad diets only to get frustrated by not losing weight and then bingeing on unhealthy foods. I’m ready to start a new life and first order of business is eating healthier. My doctor has been encouraging the Paleo lifestyle and up until now I have put it off. After reading MANY blogs/reviews/opinions, I feel the Paleo life is the life I will be living from here on out. Boy, where to begin?! The food is delicious and satisfying. I feel great after meals, not heavy. Even though my family has various food allergies, now that we’re doing paleo, we can all eat the same foods!
we went to a fellow paleo friends hose for dinner and our entire meal came out of the Well Fed cookbook. Everything was delicious, flavorful and looked so easy to make as well!
The clean feeling I have knowing I’ve put only good nurturing foods in my body.
I like how much energy I have since switching to Paleo. I eat but don’t feel like I want to die afterwards because I have a boulder of pasta or bread filling up my stomach. I also love that there are no “Frankenfoods” in my diet any longer with a list of preservatives as long as my arm.

I love how surprised I was upon discovering that Primal food tastes better than the grain-loaded garbage (wheat- I’m looking at you). I love how eating Primal gives me maximized physical energy throughout the day, deeper sleep at night, and increased mental clarity. The fog is gone! This lifestyle is incredible.

Eating Paleo has taught me how to cook, I mean really cook. Before I started the paleo way of life, I would cook, but it was so much easier to go out to eat or order in food. I love so many things about it – I think the way it makes me feel most of all. Sometimes I forget how I used to have little energy, feel bloated, get ravenous after two or three hours without “food.” But I’ll hear or read something one of my non-paleo friends says or posts and I remember and am so thankful I live this healthy life!

Eating Paleo is a journey. A long and sometimes rocky road. The concept seems so simple, but in actuality, changing most things we have been taught about what to eat is an uphill battle for most of us.
The magical thing is once you make that commitment to try, you are amazed and almost stunned at how much better you feel!

I love the entire Paleo lifestyle, especially for the TOTAL health benefits. I have not been as fit as I am now since I was a teenager. Putting healthy, REAL food in my body, moving my body to CHALLENGING workouts 6 days a week, and sleeping no less than 8 hrs of quiet, dark sleep a each night….all of this has quite literally changed my entire life.
I just started eating paleo a few weeks ago and this book would be so helpful! I feel much better already after cutting out processed foods and grains, but am in need of a great recipe resource.

I love how my entire family has found lasting health and happiness eating paleo. It shows too! The visiting nurse who comes to check on my 7-month old who was born 10 weeks premature exclaimed last week, “Your family is the picture of health and I wish every baby I saw looked like your son.”

Paleo just works. Losing more excess weight than I thought I had with no effort was pretty cool too. Glucose regulation is vastly improved, keeps my mind much more stable than before.
I am just starting my Paleo journey after reading thru info from the Wahl’s Foundation about the benefits of Paleo nutrition when someone is dealing with autoimmune issues. We only get one body, got to take care of it as long & as best as we can, right? Here’s to our health~

I only just started but so far I love eating PALEO!!! It makes me feel energized and ready to seize the day. Crazy how food can affect your mood and outlook on life! I could especially benefit from this cookbook because I’m having a hard time finding good tasting and also “complete” meals. It’s funny… when I tell people what I eat they always comment on how hard that must be. But the truth is, I actually find it to me MUCH easier! Now that we have no crap in our house, our only choices are healthy things. I don’t worry anymore about my kids getting enough veggies or protein. I find it much easier to create my weekly menus , partly because I have less to choose from, and what’s left over is all good stuff. I also don’t feel guilty about what I’m eating anymore, because all of it feeds me in a positive way. And, because my diet is so full of yummy stuff, I rarely have cravings for anything else.
What don’t I love about eating Paleo! The endless awesome foods that we’re eating. The pounds that continue to melt off of my body. I’ve lost at least 30 (maybe more) pounds since September. Love the energy I get from just eating paleo and so not missing the bloating I felt when I ate grains. So glad that I was told about your book it was a great start to our new normal!!
I love it because it’s EASY! Can’t go wrong with meat and veg. I also think it’s fun to make traditional recipes paleo-friendly using alternate flours and sweeteners. Paleo makes me more creative in the kitchen.

What’s not to love about putting really good and clean food in your body?? It has made a huge difference in how my stomach feels, no more pain and cramps that gluten was doing to me. It’s had the same effect on my 10 year old daughter as well. I am constantly looking for new receipes for our family. I would love to have this book!

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia…..and after going paleo i discovered—it was my diet causing the pain/stiffness. Now to wake up without pain is SUCH A GREAT FEELING!!!!
How much better I feel and how my knee pain is greatly diminished. I went from hobbling as I got out of bed and barely able to stand long enough to cook a meal, to doing wii fit dancing (which is VERY active dancing) with my daughter every day.

I have been over weight most of my adolescent life and it wasn’t until one of my best friends, who Crossfits, talked to me about Paleo. At first, I thought that it would be like any other weight loss diet that required all ‘healthy’ food to be bland and tasteless, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. So here I am a few months later and I have never felt better in my life! My acne has cleared, I can actually do regular push ups, which I was not able to do before, and I simply couldn’t feel better! Also, I lost weight! I recommend this way of eating to anyone! I simply love paleo it has changed my life for the better!

What’s not to love about eating Paleo?!? Real, colorful food that tastes great, fills you up, and makes you feel great without the stress of calorie counting and whatnot. I’m probably in the best shape of my life, and getting better every day!

I love that along with all the health benefits, I’m eating incredibly tasty food every single meal. I’m not just pretending that some low-fat/low-cal flavorless dreck is satisfying or even remotely palatable. My healthy food is real, delicious food!

I love eating paleo because, frankly, it makes eating brain dead simple. I don’t have to think of main courses, sides, garnish or anything else, I just make the decision on what meat to eat and then compliment that with a veggie. There’s practically no thought involved and that’s what makes it so easy and successful. I know I’m stuffing my body full of tasty foods with no filler and no crap, it’s all food and taste.
I love eating Paleo because I always feel “well fed”!! I almost never feel deprived & at times can’t believe I get to eat such rich and satisfying food AND still feel great!

First and foremost I love how I feel inside and out eating paleo! Added bonuses include: learning to love cooking again, meeting new veggies and loving them, and my husband saying every night after dinner “I look forward to dinner every evening because I know it’s going to be soooo good. Paleo’s great because it’s not a diet; it’s a lifestyle. Yes, even for the one’s who want to lose weight. Diets are designed to punish your body and mind for the bad lifestyle choices you made.
Ever since I’ve gone paleo, I haven’t suffered one moment. I don’t miss the junk I used to consume because there are always options. Healthy, great tasting options.

I recently (4 weeks to be exact) have began the paleo journey. I honestly can say that I feel like a completely new person; actually I feel like my old self again. I love that my response to allergy treatments was so complete that it shocked my allergist. I love that my IBS is GONE, without all the side effects that come with being medicated. And most of all, I love that I’m 4 months pregnant and have yet to feel more than mildly bad!

As I’ve only eaten Paleo for a month now, I like how well I’m feeling on this diet, never tired, plus of course losing weight is great too. I’m still always looking for recipes. I do have Sarah’s Everyday Paleo, and Robb Wolfs cookbook too, but I think you can never have too many.
I enjoy not being hungry. The promotion of nutrient dense foods in place of processed, empty, calories keeps me full with the wealth of paleo options available.

I truly love that since I’ve been eating Paleo for the last 30 days that I can leave the house without having to worry about becoming stricken down by a hunger attack within a couple of hours. Even though I maintained a decent weight, constantly eating ruled my life way more than it should. And who couldn’t be happier than to have their blood pressure drop so that I’ve been able to abandon all of my blood pressure meds. Yay!
I love that Paleo makes me feel alive in the truest sense of the word. I don’t feel bloated, I don’t stress eat, and I don’t get the “food coma” that I used to after eating grains.
Paleo frees me from a conventional American diet (i.e. SAD) and allows me to eat in a world full of meat, veggies, and some fruit/sweet potatoes! I love it and would never go back.

I started eating Paleo on December 31, 2011 after reading Sarah Fragoso’s paleo cookbook. My husband had recently received it as a Christmas present. I tried the 30 day challenge successfully and have never felt better in my entire life! During that thirty day challenge I even achieved one of my life goals: ONE PULL UP!!! Done on my own! I’m happier & healthier.. and I’m sure my husband is rejoicing that I’ve finally started eating like he has been for years!
I love eating real whole foods that make me feel strong. I also like never feeling deprived or like I’m missing something when I eat a meal. The satiation I get from all these superfoods makes me feel like superman!

Paleo has changed our life! We feel better all around- we had a cheat night last week and ordered pizza (bad choice) my 3.5 year old says to me “Mommy I don’t want pizza, I just want scrambled eggs and apples” I knew at that moment the weight of what we have accomplished in the last several months. I love that I can skip lunch at work now so I don’t have to deal with bringing lunch. I used to need two snacks and a good sized lunch to survive my work day. I love discovering my local farmers and supporting them and my own health by purchasing grass fed beef and pastured chicken products. I love trying new recipe’s from the Everyday Paleo book or blog.

For 8 years I convinced myself that following a vegetarian lifestyle was “healthy.” After losing a good amount of unhealthy weight following this regimen I stuck with what I thought “worked for me.” A year ago I discovered CrossFit and it has turned my world upside down. The nutritionist at my gym flat out told me I needed to change my diet drastically if I intended to reap all of the benefits from my workouts. That day I began eating meat again and learned the benefits of following a paleo lifestyle. I can honestly say I have never been this strong or felt so good in my life. I now own the Everyday Paleo cookbook and am thoroughly enjoying learning how to cook delicious paleo meals for myself and my family.

I am rejoicing in feeding myself well. As a single mom it is easy to fall into the trap of feeding everyone else and skimping on my needs. Taking the time and care to take care of myself and my body is reaffirming and invigorating. So much more than just good nutrition.
I love eating paleo because it helps me get beyond coming home from work, crashing, and just getting pizza/takeout/fast food again, because i don’t have energy to cook- then starting that cycle again the next day.
I love paleo because it has helped me get out to the farmer’s market, join a CSA, and get to know the people that grow my food.
I love paleo because 90% of paleo foods don’t trigger/contribute to my migraines, and when I go shopping for paleo foods, it doesn’t take an hour of label-reading, atop an hour of deal finding and the actual act of shopping itself.
I love paleo because of the variety. Not just in terms of numbers of vegetables, spices, meats, and combinations thereof- but also the variety of people here on the internets, trying it out, working it out for themselves, and contributing.
I love paleo because the recipes put forth reach into other cultures’ gastronomical histories- including the things mainstream American culture finds distasteful, like organ meat- and embrace them.
And most of all, I love paleo because besides all this- it tastes damn good.
After a series of blood tests, my doctor recommended a diet that included a lot of grains, fake (processed) food, and get on meds. I went against his advice and went paleo and joined a crossfit gym. My blood numbers significantly improved in 60 days and he no longer wants me to take meds. He still recommends grains :p
I love that paleo foods make my body feel good. That’s the number one reason. My intestinal issues improve and my RA symptoms improve. That’s huge! I also love that I have become more inventive in the kitchen since switching to paleo. Who would have thought you could do so much with meat and veggies?
Eating paleo has truly made me feel well fed!

I love that my daughters are learning that eating healthy, fresh, whole foods are delicious, fun and can be just as easy to grab as “fast food”. And we all feel and look SO much better! While they aren’t 100% compliant, I feel that the groundwork is being laid for their futures…and hope that one day they will be more willingly compliant!
Paleo eating has been a god send for me. I feel so much better and like myself more than I have in a very long. I’m confident and stronger.
My sister loves Paleo because her kids are eating better with more variety and she is losing weight. My friend Susie loves it because her RA pain is lessening. I love Paleo because for the first time in my life I don’t have sugar cravings! We have been cooking together Paleo style for six weeks and have no intention of going back to the SAD way of eating.

Eating paleo helps keep my symptoms of lupus in remission. I can train harder and I recover faster. Plus, I don’t have to count calories or deprive myself to stay slim…I feel satisfied after every meal and snack.
I also love that my daughter (who is 12) will try everything I make and as a result has discovered lots of new foods that she likes. I guess when you cook greens in bacon fat it just tastes great!

What I love about eating Paleo is how much better I feel. I have so much energy, think more clearly, am happier, and no longer have joint pain nor a desire to eat sweets.
I love that because I eat food that comes from the earth or walks upon it in a natural way, I consequently care more about the earth. I care more about plants and animals that come from a healthy environment free of toxins. I feel more connected to the earth and am more grateful for it.
…not to mention the fact that I am looking and feeling pretty dang good these days!
I love that my serious, chronic illnesses are starting to fade away, just because of a change in how I eat. It feels like a miracle, and I’m very grateful.
I look prettier, too, but that is just icing on the Paleo cake.
eating paleo means that i was able to stop taking crazy drugs for my rheumatoid arthritis! This in and of itself is enough- but i am just so grateful that I am 6 months pregnant and am not worrying about medications affecting my little acorn.
I love that it has given me a completely new way of life and I feel like I’m giving my son the best I possibly can.

When I was coughing and congested for 5 months (May – August/2011) and allergists and medical doctors could not seem to help me after anti-biotics, negative allergy tests, nasal sprays…etc., etc., I went to a whole health nurse practitioner located far from where I live, who told me to buy and follow Sarah’s cookbook. I had never heard of Paleo Nutrition. At the same time, my High School daughter was recruited for a division one athletic sport for college, across the country, and the coach recommended that she join a Crossfit gym her senior year to get ready. We had never heard of Crossfit. As Paleo nutrition was curing me(Mom), my daughter, a high performing athlete in multiple sports, was coming home for lunch from school because it made her feel so much better to eat Paleo. She will be joining crossfit when her school sports season ends in March, but she has already been following Paleo for 6 months. Our worlds came together coincidentally at the same time, and we both are so extremely happy to have found Paleo Nutrition!!!! She always looks forward to every meal, and is excited to try something new. I am actually doing the Julie and Julia method of cooking through each page in the book! I am going to join crossfit with her! I can’t wait, and really would like the Well Fed cookbook since it is endorsed by Sarah!!! My husband is also finally on board…I can leave a sticky note on the counter when I leave for work in the morning, if it is more convenient for him to cook dinner, that states, Dinner page 95, and he happily creates Paleo..he also looks up recipes on his own too. It took me about 4 months to get the cupboards, pantry, and family on board, and emergency paleo in my freezer, which has saved me a ton of time and $$ from not having to go to doctor appointments any longer. My daughter has been excelling in school and sports this year and I believe it is the good oils and protein she now has in her diet. Time to let Michelle O’Bama in on this to help with schools across America!

I love eating Paleo because it stabilizes my blood sugar: I am not shaking with hunger every two hours. I am more patient with my kids. I am more open to joy.
One reason I love paleo is because of its emphasis on sustainable farming. When I went back to eating meat after 17 years of vegetarianism, I didn’t want to contribute to the abusive factory farming process which turned me veggie in the first place. Paleo opened my eyes to another way.
I love that I can eat until I’m full and not have an ounce a guilt because I know I’m eating clean and fueling my body. I loved when I was at lunch with co-workers and that while they counted calories and talked about how they were still hungry, I kept eating and watched their mouths drop open as they saw how I gave no thought to my calorie count. Awesome! I have wanted this book so bad, love it!

The Paleo lifestyle has saved my life. In the last year I’ve lost 130 lbs through living Paleo and exercising. My high blood pressure is no longer an issue, my cholesterol and triglycerides are all at incredibly healthy levels, and I look and feel better than I ever have in my entire life. I cook three meals a day, and I’m constantly looking for new recipes and trying out the ones I find on this site. I was one of the many that believed whole grains was a must for good health and the right carbs for energy. Yet, I was always hungry and tired. After switching to the paleo lifestyle I have more energy and sleep like a rock at night. In just the last two months I have experimented with more vegetables than in my all my years put together! I was introduced to Paleo by my 26 year old son, who is a very fit and healthy us marine officer..sorry had to momma brag a little.
It’s been 1 year this month. I have gone from 133 to 112 pounds. My run times have gotten much faster and I feel great. I love that you dont count anything, just eat healthy non processed foods. It is super easy to eat this way anywhere. We spent 2 weeks at Christmas in Hawaii , with my son, so easy to order in restraunts and of course we cooked lots of fresh tuna and other great things.
Great lifestyle change for me !!
