Book Release Date and a Video Preview of Everyday Paleo

Many of you know that I have a book coming out and I am thrilled to announce that the actual release date will be April 25th!!  If you have not yet pre-ordered from Amazon, now is the time!!  My book has a good chance of making the New York Times Best Seller’s List, and with your help, we can hopefully make that happen and give Paleo nutrition the exposure it deserves!!  With the success of Robb Wolf’s, The Paleo Solution and now the success of Everyday Paleo, it is my deepest wish that more and more people will reap the benefits of living a paleo lifestyle because the reality is, Paleo is saving lives!!  If you have not yet pre-ordered and decide to order more than one copy, please order each copy as a separate order as the New York Times counts one order as one book, no matter how many books you purchase. Thanks again for your continued support, encouragement and feedback.  Now, check out this video preview of Everyday Paleo!!

Congratulations! I will surely get it as soon as the Kindle version is out. There will be a Kindle version (or some other ebook format), right?

    • Sarah says

Hi Tim, Not sure at this point on the kindle version. It’s a big book and with all the pictures and techniques in the fitness section, they are not sure it will format correctly for kindle.

      • Tim says

Hi Sarah, too bad, but thanks for your answer.
I will may be get the printed book then, even though the price for pre-ordering your book here in Germany from Amazon is 23 Euro (i.e. 32 US$), which is double the price as in the US :-(

        • Judith says

Is it possible for you to order the book from the US for delivery to Germany? I frequently order books from the UK (amazon.co.uk) for delivery to the US this way, frequently cheaper too

        • Misabi says

          Hi Tim,

I feel where your coming from.

Local bookstore website = NZ$45.95 (free shipping)
          Amazon.com = NZ$36.55 (incl shipping)
          bookdepository.co.uk = NZ$35.19 (free shipping)

So not much of a saving getting it from the bookdepositry rather than Amazon, but as I also bought ‘Lights out: sleep, sugar and survival’ and ‘Deep Nutrition’ at the same time. So on the total order I saved NZ$51.45 and only had to deal with one website, payment etc.

Whoo Hoo! I just got Robb’s book in the mail yesterday and couldn’t put it down. I expect I’ll do the same when I get yours! Can’t wait!

  3. Martine says

    Hi

    You book looks good! :)

    Two quick questions:

    1. Will the book come out in stores? I’d like to see it before I buy it, you know? Will it come out in Canada?
    2. If not, will Amazon ship this book to Canada?

Love your cabbage and Italian sausage dish. It has become a family favourite!

  4. says

Looks great, Sarah! Just placed my pre-order, will be happy to finally have all your recipes in one place – rather than scattered through random emails and scraps of paper :)

  5. Stephanie H. says

I have to admit that I was on the fence about buying your book until I saw your video preview. Now I see that your book is much more than just a collection of recipes, and I will definitely be buying it.

Congratulations! Can’t wait. I’ve been hoarding a Borders gift card, and now I know what I’ll do with it! (I buy most books on the Kindle, but I will want this one hard-copy.) We’ve been Paleo for about 6 weeks now, and I don’t think a day has gone by when we haven’t had at least one of your recipes.

    Best of luck!

  12. Lindsay says

Congratulations the book looks fantastic. So nice to see that all your hard work and dedication paid off. I’ll pre-order on Amazon asap.

Also I love the photograph of your family where everyone is jumping. That should be enlarged and on a wall somewhere in your house –coolest family pic. ever.

    Keep it up!

    • Sarah says

Thank you so much Lindsay, we love that jumping picture, it was so much fun shooting it although we all had to jump about 1000 times before we got one that worked! LOL!!

This sounds and looks like a primal/paleo book that is taking it to the next level. I will without a doubt be purchasing more than 1 copy. Good luck with your sales Sarah!

  17. Terri Fleet says

Sarah…just ordered your book. We put Ella on the Paleo Diet about a month ago because she had been so ill for months…she is gaining some much needed weight and feels fantastic! Her Volleyball coach put us onto the diet and we look forward to getting your cookbook! So impressive…like mother like daughter! Thoughts and prayers for you and yours always.

    Terri

    • Sarah says

Hi Terri! So wonderful to hear from you and I’m so happy to hear that Ella is feeling better and putting on weight. Please keep in touch! Much love to you and your family!

  18. Stacey H. says

I have been using your website for meal ideas for about 4 days now. I am significantly overweight and have been doing paleo for about a week now. I’m not perfect at it yet, but I think I have managed to mostly wean myself from sugar, etc. However, with the power of positive thinking and eating, I am succeeding. I realized last night that I am actually feeling better than I have in several years. Better yet, I don’t feel deprived and I don’t have many food cravings. I also have three very picky children (and yes, I’m talking about pop tart, cinnamon toast cruch, peanut butter and jelly loving kids). I feel like I need to carry my laptop around with me for every meal or snack, but the change in diet is working. I just wantched the video about your book and it literaly had me in tears by the end. Thank you for all of your ideas and recipes and I will most certainly be pre-ordering your book today. I want to show my kids the pictures of your kids eating healthy and liking it (and use the recipes and exercise ideas as well). Today I made the pot roast with cabbage on top and the apple/almond meal muffins and thought my ears were deceiving me when I heard my 8 year old son say “more please”. I can’t wait to see how the roast (which is currently in the crock pot) turns out.

I know this comment has been rather lengthy, but I just wanted you to know that you and your family are helping me and mine become healthier and I can’t wait to get the book.

    • Sarah says

Thank you so much for sharing your story Stacey! You are doing an amazing thing for yourself and your family so please be proud!! Keep me posted on how things go for you and thank you again!! : )

  19. Mahima says

Hi Sarah — Just stumbled on your website a few days ago! Just started a paleo challenge at my crossfit gym and your blog is a treasure trove of recipes!! I am totally pre-ordering your book! Hope you come to Texas for one of your seminars soon!

  20. JW | Natural Mana says

Looks great Sarah! I really like the layout. Even though I told myself I wouldn’t buy another paleo book or recipe book…. I might of been lying to myself. lol

  21. Michelle says

Been crossfitting for just about 4 months now and I am really excited to start Paleo. Pre-ordered your book and looking forward to making delicious foods.

  22. Tricia says

I was already so excited for the book but your video clip got me even more excited! My pre-order is on the books but I will definitely be ordering more for friends and family. Love your blog- you continue to inspire me, so thank you so much for all of your guidance on this journey!

  23. Suzan says

I can’t wait for this book to come out. I’ve mentioned it on my blog, and after I read it, I’ll do a review, too. Congrats and I wish you much success!

  24. Misabi says

My copy finally landed in New Zealand yesterday.
I had a quick scan through it on the commute home and to work this morning (train, not driving :) ) and it looks really good! Great layout, lots of pictures in ‘glorious technicolor’ and the sheer amount of info you’ve crammed in, e.g. diet, fitness and recipes. You could almost have published this as 3 separate books.
Oh, and even a sense of humour!…

Your comment in the ‘get to know your macronutrients’ section about how to tell what suitable protein is made me laugh out loud and attracted several odd looks on the train last night. I’m not going to repeat it here so as not to ruin the read for others, but I’ve gotta say, if you were ever hoping to convert any vegitarians that bit right there isn’t going to do it for you. In fact, it might even put of a few borderline meat eaters :D

For someone who’s been happily eating paleo/primal for several years it’s obviously starting from the basics (though I’m sure there are plenty of tips I can still take on board, and the new recipes are always welcome), but your insight into the topic from a family with young kids is a great perspective that I think a lot of people will find invaluable.

I’ve already had a couple of women at work try to pinch it from me, and I’ll certainly be passing it around my extended family & friends (on the understanding that they immediately buy their own copy, as they can’t have mine!), so it’s definitely doing it’s job of spreading the word :)
