“Paleo Treat.” It’s been a big buzz in the paleosphere these days and I typically live in my own little bubble, ignoring the big buzzes and focusing on taking the best care of my family that I can and using what’s left of my energy dedicated to running this little blog, working on books, and helping to run EPLifeFit. I love doing what I do. I am extremely blessed. I am so grateful to be healthy and strong after so many years of not being healthy and strong and I am beyond happy that my kids are healthy, strong and thriving.

Proper Perspective at Work
* Here’s another great post by Jason Seib!
Sorry for the silence on my part lately. EPLifeFit is booming and keeping me quite busy. Excuses, excuses…
I often preach the merits of proper perspective (here, for example) and today I just want to give you a quick example of what can happen if your head is in the right place. I would like you to meet Laura. When Laura first came to me she was an avid runner, tried to “eat right”, and hadn’t ever really spent any time lifting weights. All in all, she was very much the average person to walk through our door – her head was full of common exercise and nutrition myths and she was unhappy.
Believe In Yourself, Believe In Others: Introducing Lisa
Note from Sarah: Hello dear readers. I would like to introduce you all to Lisa. Lisa approached me recently and asked if she could share her journey with my blog readers in hopes to not only help herself but to help others as well on their own quest to health through the paleo lifestyle. Lisa’s story is compelling, real, and most likely will hit close to home for many of us on several levels. Join me in supporting Lisa on her journey as she documents her path to health. Thank you Lisa for your bravery and willingness to share your life with us.
Are You Stuck??
What has happened in our past does not have to dictate our future. We can choose if we want to move forward. We can choose if we are worth it. We can choose if we want to be stuck.
I used to find myself feeling as if the hand that life had dealt to me was simply “what it was” and that I was destined somehow to be unhappy, to be unhealthy. But I have always been a fighter and there has always been that little spark that even after being dealt several hefty blows, that little spark had never entirely been put out.
My Teenagers Perspective on Paleo: Guest Blog by Coby Fragoso

*Note from Sarah: Coby. My oldest son. My teenage hero and the kid that keeps me sane when his little brothers are driving me crazy. I wish I could explain to you what Coby means to me but how could I? It’s like trying to explain the vast expanse of the universe, so I won’t even try. Anyway, I asked Coby a while ago if he would write a blog post and he totally went for it! Below is what he has written; from the heart of a 16 year old, he has shared with you his own personal paleo journey – short and sweet and to the point. Thank you Coby for your honesty and your willingness to put yourself out there in hopes to share with other kids that living this lifestyle can be your own unique experience. Continue reading
Announcing Everyday Paleo Lifestyle and Fitness!!!!
Finally, the time has come to announce and introduce to you:
Everyday Paleo Lifestyle and Fitness!!
Over the past several months, Jason Seib and I have been working together to create EPLifeFit, in hopes that this will be the missing link for many of you on your paleo journey. As trainers, we are both incredibly passionate about fitness and how it should be made to fit into a paleo lifestyle and we both have been frustrated and concerned that we simply could not give you exactly what you need; beyond some futile suggestions and blogs written in the form of begging folks to lift weights and get moving. Of course the questions keep coming; how do we do it, what do we do, what do we need, where do we go?
Jason and I both have families with three children, dogs, chickens, after school functions, before school functions, businesses to run, and lives to live and we know how hard it can be to make this lifestyle work AND add in a fitness plan, so we created Everyday Paleo Lifestyle and Fitness which is designed to work for anyone and the answers are now literally at your fingertips.
EPLifeFit is not just about fitness, it’s a community, a support network, a way to access Jason, myself, my husband who is an award winning chiropractor and mobility expert, as well as a team of knowledgable moderators simply by opening up your computer.
EPLifeFit is also about lifestyle and nutrition, a way to access information that before we simply did not have the ability to give to you; but now we can. I could go on and on but instead, please go check out Everyday Paleo Lifestyle and Fitness for yourself, see all that it has to offer, and once you join, we’ll see you there, ready to help.
As always, Enjoy!
Painted Into a Corner by Jason Seib
*Note from Sarah: This one needed to be written and I’M SO GLAD that Jason decided to write it and share it with you. I used to be the person he describes in this post and although the journey took a lot of hard work and dedication I’m so glad that I took that first step and you will be glad to. Thank you so much Jason for another eye opener.
Please be assured that we want to provide the answers, we want to help, and we have been developing a program that we are sure will be what many of you need to take those steps towards implementing fitness into your paleo lifestyle. On December 1st we will be announcing what that program is so please stay tuned!!
Painted Into a Corner

Time for some tough love. I am fully aware that I may catch hell for some of the things I’m going to say today. So be it. They need to be said and it is worth it to me if I can just get you thinking.
