Very soon marks my two year Everyday Paleo facebook page anniversary and more exciting, just around the corner will be the 4 year mark of the birth of this blog! Within that timeframe, I released my first book Everyday Paleo, followed by my children’s book Paleo Pals, and in September, my new book, The Everyday Paleo Family Cookbook will be out! It’s unbelievable really; it seems like just yesterday my last little boy Rowan was born and then four months later I stumbled into Robb’s gym and my life got flipped upside down, or maybe I should say – finally flipped right side up!!
Now, to look back over the last few years, is mind blowing to say the least. Overall I am incredibly grateful for my health and for the health of my family and I keep on keeping on because I so badly want to reach out about this amazing paleo lifestyle to anyone else who wants to listen. Yes, it’s a challenge and there are days that I look at my little family, want to wrap them up in my arms, and just walk off into the sunset; but I won’t. I’m too tough for that. I want to be here and I will always be here; until they kick me out anyway…
With that being said I feel the need to celebrate!! To celebrate life, health, anniversaries, and to celebrate just because celebrations are cool. Often there is soooooo much negativity in the world and the truth is; the only way to make that vibe better is to do something about it, so let’s do this! In this blog you’ll find a book review round up including a giveaway for each of the books I’m about to tell you about – and signed copies at that! There will also be a special secret giveaway (shhh, don’t tell anyone, but it’s a $300 gift certificate to Tropical Traditions!) just for the heck of it! Read to the end to find out how to enter!
When I first started blogging about paleo it was pretty lonely in the paleo blogging world. I felt like the only mama out there crazy enough to feed her kids paleo and it was a bit scary but I went for it, put it all out there, threw caution to the wind, and started documenting our lives and experiences and now poof – it’s 2012 and if you even THINK about googling paleo you’ll end up with more blogs, books, articles, websites, and forums than you could possibly ever read in your entire lifetime. Whew! How COOL IS THAT!?!?! I’m no longer a lonely mommy paleo blogger but rather just another happy fish in a full paleo pond.
So, I side-tracked but as I mentioned above – about the books – there’s a ton of new ones out there and my desk is literally a skyscraper of review copies, so I have been whittling through the pile and I would like to introduce a few of the latest books to all of you!
First, let’s kick it off with It Starts With Food by Dallas & Melissa Hartwig, creators of the Whole9 blog and the Whole30 program.
Before I get into the actual book, can I please just say how beautiful and tall and glowing and inspiring both Dallas and Melissa are? If you have ever had the pleasure to meet these two, you will know exactly what I’m talking about. WOW! Now, on to the book: it’s just exactly what I thought it would be coming from Dallas and Melissa – impeccably written, well versed, and nothing is left out. I highly recommend handing this book over to that neighbor, friend, or loved one who just doesn’t understand why the heck you gave up bread, cheese, and sugar; and no matter what you say about “paleo this” or “paleo that,” it just won’t sink in. This book will sink it in; guaranteed. Dallas and Melissa make the science understandable and to top it off, the authors have this uncanny way of getting inside your head and shaking things up a bit – but in a good way. It’s hard to argue with their logic and reading It Starts With Food was a great reminder to me why my own family eats this way. My take away from this book is this quote, found in the very first chapter, “There is no food neutral; there is no food Switzerland – every single thing you put in your mouth is either making you more healthy or less healthy.”
Bam. Enough said. It Starts With Food is available here on Amazon.
Now, moving on to Dean Dwyer’s new book; Make Shift Happen
Are you looking for a motivational kick in the pants? This is the book for you. The subtitle of this book is, “Change How You Look by Changing How You Think.” Isn’t that the truth? So often we are hung up on the way we approach change and Dean’s writing style is not only inspirational – the guy is also hilarious, which makes for a fun read, even when the topics get serious. Dean covers 20 Life-Changing Shifts in this book from concepts such as “Declare War on Resistance” and my personal favorite, “Smash the Scale!” Have fun with this one, and the big bonus; it might just change your life! Order Make Shift Happen by clicking here!
And next: Sweet Potato Power by Ashley Tudor!
Ashley offers a comprehensive guide to all things paleo with a focus on the amazing sweet potato! Ashley personalizes for you a step by step guide to optimize your health and teaches you how to incorporate smart carbs like sweet potatoes and how to determine what your own general range of carbohydrate consumption should be based on who you are. And did you say you wanted some sweet potato recipes? Well this book has a copious amount of sweet potato recipes; with one of my personal favorites being the Southwestern Chili! You can find Sweet Potato Power by clicking here!
Now an E-Book! Bill and Hayley over at the Food Lovers Kitchen have recently released a comprehensive E-Book; 30 Day Intro to Paleo.
This is a get started guide for folks new to eating paleo and included in the 149 pages, you will find:
- A full 30 Day meal plan (breakfast, lunch, and dinner ideas for 30 days), broken down week by week
- Shopping lists for each week, including a handy list of basics & essentials
- Detailed explanations about which foods to eat and why you should eat them
- Nearly 100 recipes which are referenced in the meal plan
- Weekly coaching sheets which help you plan ahead meals, explore the science via links to online articles, and even videos to show you how to cook certain dishes or explain advanced concepts.
- And the best part is, it all works as a cohesive package to help you through that first critical month!
Awesome stuff!!! You can find the E-book by clicking here.
Finally – Last but most certainly not least, the book that is soon to be released on August 7th by Balanced Bites blogger Diane Sanfilippo’s, Practical Paleo.
I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy of this book and first, this book should not be titled Practical Paleo, it should be called Practically EVERYTHING Paleo because Diane did not leave out a thing. This truly is a paleo bible! Diane covers it all; the basics, what paleo is, how to get started, and then goes on to offering 30 day meal plans specifically for autoimmune conditions, digestive health, blood-sugar regulation, thyroid health, cancer recovery, heart health, parkinson’s, alzheimer’s, fat loss, athletic performance, general health and more! No stone unturned; and although I haven’t yet had a chance to cook from the book, the over 120 easy recipes look delicious. Nice work Diane! You can pre-order the book now on Amazon.
Ok, that wraps up the book review round up but how do you enter to win? Easy! Go “like” my Facebook page and/or any of the folks above Facebook pages and then tell me that you did in the comments below. You can also enter to win by simply commenting why you want one of these books! The winners will be picked by random from the comments. This contest will close on Saturday morning July 21st at 9am PST. I will be giving away at random a signed copy of each of the books above as well as the E-Book by Bill & Hayley, and of course, remember the secret random prize – a $300 gift certificate to Tropical Traditions, so that would be 6 luck winners total. Now let’s get the celebration going and let the commenting begin!!!!
*Update – and DUH – I’ll also be giving away a copy of each of my books as well! Everyday Paleo, Paleo Pals, and once I receive the advanced copies, the new Family Cookbook!! So that makes a total of 9 winners!!

Congrats on the anniversaries! I liked your FB page in hopes of winning your giveaway.
What a great selection of books! I just liked your Facebook page, as well as the Whole9 and Balanced Bites pages.
I would love to win any of these prizes! My paleo journey is just starting…I dabbled with paleo one year ago…and got pregnant 2 weeks later! Now, 3 months post-partum, I am committed to this new ‘way of life’, and am loving to read anything I can get my hands on! Thanks for the great giveaway!
Love your blog! I am most interested in Make Shift Happen and Practical Paleo..still trying to fully make the transition and need a little kick…also, the Practical Paleo book looks awesome!
I already “like” you and many of the others
I would love a chance to win some of them! I have been thinking about buying many of those books for a while
Love your first book, have several of the others but really really NEED the ‘Make Shift Happen’! Also, have ‘liked’ your page and a few of the others sometime back. Thanks for all you do.
I’ve liked your Facebook page and am up to episode 22 of your podcast, my husband and I are 18 days into whole 30 and are loving the energy benefits and improved workouts. Paleo is certainly our future.
I already liked Whole9, so I added you, Balanced Bites and the Food Lovers as well! I would love to get my paws on all of these books, but I think It Starts With Food and Practical Paleo would be great to start with–along with the Everyday Paleo book too. Thanks for doing this giveaway!
Alright liked your page and Dean’s. I’m very interested in reading “It Starts with Food”.
It Starts with Food would be awesome! Though any of them would, really.
likes all over the place! it starts with food and sweet potato power have both gotten such rave reviews.
Wow! A wonderful giveaway! I have been eating paleo for two years and kind of feel like I need to be rejuvenated. I would love to get my hands on any of these books but especially Sweet Potato Power which is already on my wishlist at Amazon, It Starts With Food as I haven’t read a lot by these two but have heard awesome things, and Practical Paleo as I know from following Diane that she is very efficient. I’m crossing my fingers and hoping I am a winner! Oh course, your new book is on my wishlist too as I use the first book almost daily for meals and recently for workouts. Wow! Those workouts and fun and don’t take much time at all.
I already “like” the Facebook pages. I already have It Starts With Food and Sweet Potato Power and love them both. To win any of the other ones would be great!! I’m also due for a large Tropical Traditions so that would be awesome too! Thanks for doing this great giveaway!
Hi Sarah! I’m new to blogs and don’t do Facebook. I love reading and identifying with the issues that other people are experiencing on this “Paleo Journey”. I’m only in my fourth month of this journey and would love either Practical Paleo, Make Shift Happen, or 30 Day Intro to Paleo. Sweet Potatoes are unfortunately not for me because of food allergies.
I’m new to paleo, and these books would really help me, find new recipies, and continue learning about my new way of life.
congratulations on 2 years for you and your kids! I to am almost at the 2 year mark for my family…(i had jumped on a few years before but was so afraid of going against the grain for my 3 kids- i finally got up the nerve after my 3rd was born. we will never go back!) Thanks for your posts and podcasts…. they keep inspiring and make me laugh!
-Kristin Heckman in New Hampshire
(i already *like* all of the pages listed)
We are actually over 4 years into our paleo journey – just my facebook page is 2 years old. LOL!! : ) Thank you!
Wow! What a great source of information, especially for a new-to-Paleo person like myself! I liked all of the FB pages, and would love to have copies of any of the books – especially Make Shift Happen and Practical Paleo. Thanks, and congrats!
Congratulations! Thanks for such a generous and wonderful giveaway. I “liked” your page over on Facebook.
Just finished my first Whole30 yesterday and it was, truly, food for thought
More Paleo books, more coconut oil, it’s all good!
Sarah you’re an inspiration! I started eating paleo back in January and can’t say enough about how it’s changed my life. I discovered a true joy in cooking for the first time ever. I give paleo cookbooks to friends as gifts and would love the chance at a gift for myself. Thanks for the great book reviews!
Already “like” Everyday Paleo, Balanced Bites, Make Shift Happen and Food Lovers , and just “liked” Whole9. Any of those books would be great.
I have Kindle versions of Everyday Paleo, Make Shift Happen and It Starts With Food but it would be nice to have any of the print copies so I have something to loan to family or friends.
Congratulations on all your successes!
I have to say, I love your blog! I also have to say, I LOVE “it starts with food,” great book! I already have “liked” 3 out of the 5 Facebook pages and I added the rest.
I’m a big reader and all these book sound amazing. Being a full time professional and an Ironman Athlete, I struggling with diagnosed insulin resistance and the nutritional balance to keep me moving without “bonking.” I have very little time to concentrate on meal planning and cooking…so I’ll admit, I read, read, read, but fail in the art of application.
That being said, I think I’d most like “The Practicle Paleo” and/or “The Sweet Potato Power” financially, I’d like the $300 dolla to Tropical Traditions
Thank you again for making an impact on my life and hopefully one day I’ll find my “paleo groove”
Melissa
I follow you ad Whole9 on facebook. My family and I have been eating whole foods for 6 months, and more paleo-style in the last month. I would love any of these books to learn as much as I can! Thanks!
I liked all of the facebook pages!
I would love to win any of the books or the GC! I am new to the Paleo world and have a lot to learn!
I am so happy you linked up all the facebook pages and I “liked” them all. I am constantly looking for information and you served up a ton here! Love all the books and would be happy with anyone of them. Can’t wait for your cookbook to come out, that one is on my wish list already.
I liked you on Facebook!
I would love to read It Starts With Food, but all of them look great! Love it.
Oh and I would love any one of these books, especially the ones with recipes because I just had a baby and want to feed her paleo so she doesnt grow up with all the issued I had (and still deal with). Thanks so much for your awesome recipes!
Started my paleo journey the first of the year so I have been collecting recipes and such!! Love your blog!!
I ‘liked’ you on Facebook, Sarah! I’m sure I’ve actually already ‘liked’ a few of the other authors, but I didn’t feel like searching them all out to check and make sure, I’m sure I”ll be visiting each of their FB pages eventually because I am indeed stuck i this tangled web of health and information and it is ADDICTING. I love it.
I’d love to own your book because it’d be great to have new delicious Paleo recipes to try out on my husband and son, who are NOT 100% on the Paleo wagon. I love the Hartwig’s, listening to them speak at the Real Food Summit was a breath of fresh air, they are really just full of practical, solid advice for everyone at any walk of life just trying to be healthier. I’ve listened to Ashley Tudor interviews a couple of times and what interested me about her book is that she lays down how exactly to conduct certain experiments on yourself to get a better idea of which foods actually work for YOU. I’d love to have all that information and advice right in my hands in book form, that would make it all less intimidating. And, as always, I could use some Tropical Traditions cash! I’ve never been able to justify to my husband buying that big tub of coconut oil….but this way I’d be able to….:)
Congrats, Sarah, for everything you have accomplished in the last few years! You’ve done some fabulous work and you got your life back! Thank you so much for including your readers and fans in this celebration!
I’ve liked your FB page and the Food Lovers page – hope I win!
Any! I just found Robb’s podcasts so have been listening in. I also just picked up Everyday Paleo from the library and I am shifting my diet – don’t like to make a purchase until I decide if I like the cookbook. Only been a week and I feel better already. Struggling with getting the family on board. I figure it’s about time and doseage. So any book would be great!!!
I would LOVE Diane’s new book Practical Paleo as it’s the only one from the above list I don’t have. Everyday Paleo was my first and very special purchase! Love everything you do. On a side note, loving the lighter hair colour. Facebook page ‘liked.’
Good morning from way up here in Canada!
Paleo is thriving here in our CrossFit Box in the South Okanagan…any time we can get and share new resources is Wonderful!! All are Liked!! Thanks for sharing your collection! Happy blogging !!
I liked your page on face book and I wish I had sooner. I love all the food “porn” and your delicious recipes!!! Thank you
I would love the sweet potato book! Thanks!!
Hi Sarah!! thank you so much for this awesome opportunity!! i would really really want YOUR new cookbook
but would also love to have any one of the other books you recommend!! thanks again!!
I have just started this paleo journey and I have been enthusiastically following a number of blogs that I have really enjoyed. I would love some additional resources to read and continue to learn because I feel this change is totally worth it. I haven’t had a chance to read any of the books that were reviewed and even if I didn’t get a copy of any of them, I’ll be sure to check them out anyway. Thank you for the suggestions.
Congrats on all your success Sarah!
All these books look great and inspiring for someone like me who sometimes falls off the paleo wagon. I’m interested in learning more of the science behind paleo too.
Thanks!
I liked the Facebook page. I read Sweet Potato power already and I’d definitely like to read especially the last two books you listed for recipe ideas.
I would love to read Sweet Potato Power and Practical Paleo next. Already read Paleo Solution and It Starts with Food, wish I had an unlimited supply of both just to hand out when people ask why I do this. I use a ton of Food Lovers Kitchen recipes, they are great and their website is awesome.
I had liked all the other except Dean, so thanks for pointing out his FB page to me. Now I have many resources available to me. What I would love to read is “Practical Paleo.” I struggle with finding recipes that my husband and kids will eat. Almost every meal must be accompanied by bread, rice or potatoes. And while I can make the meals and then side them up with those items, it would be much easier and simpler if I had tasty recipes that didn’t require those items but offered excellent substitutions. Congrats Sarah on your health and success. You are an awesome inspiration to all of us.
I would love to have “It Starts with Food”. I’m just about finished with my first 30 days of straight Paleo. I cannot tell you what a difference it has made. I LOVE cook books and helpful books on Paleo. I LOVE yours and it’s basically my bible. Looking forward to your new one and Chrissy’s new book and Diane’s book. Thank you for everything you do for your readers.
I would LOVE to have Practical Paleo because I read her blog daily and already use many of her recommendations and recipes. I am SUPER-EXCITED to read her book. The initial reviews are all terrific! YAY!
would love to give the practical paleo to help my parents who have health issues get started on paleo!
I gave your book to my wife as a gift. It has since been loaned out and not returned. The person we loaned it to has already lost around 30 lbs. We’re healthier and feel better every day because of paleo. I would be happy to read any of the books you’ve listed here. Sweet Potato Power and Practical Paleo are particularly interesting. Thanks, Sarah, for all you do.
I am in my first Primal week!! The recipes I am finding here are making the transition a pleasure! I have been able to find yummy things to satisfy my husband’s sweet tooth at breakfast. I have a 5 1/2 month old daughter that is going paleo too. Wish us luck!!
I like your facebook page and hope to win any of these awesome books, especially your new family paleo cookbook as our whole family eats paleo, which includes my 2 and 4 year old daughters! I am always looking for more ideas/recipes for the little ones.
I am with Tom on this one, I have two of the books above and have loaned them out, still waiting to get them back. I should be happy they are circulating, but I kinda miss the recipes ; )
I would love to get my hands on the others! Thanks for the great giveaway!!
I Liked your FB page a while back, and I’m really getting into what I can do with sweet potatoes now… Sweet Potato Power is definitely something I can get behind!
I have liked your page and I would LOVE to delve into all of these books. In fact, I have all of them on my “to do” or “to buy” list. Dean’s book has been on my list since I stumbled onto Paleo back in February. I really need a kick in the pants for sticking with this lifestyle. It is sooooo easy to stumble, especially when family members aren’t completely understanding of paleo. I bought your cookbook in June and love it, and I am planning on buying your children’s book for myself and my daycare provider. I introduced her to paleo/primal in June, and she and her husband are totally in. It is wonderful to be able to share and start a “team.” Thanks for all you do!
I have heard so many good things about the “It Starts with Food” book – and would love to win it as I am exploring a paleo lifestyle!
Thanks for this post. I’m most interested in the It Starts with Food book (I “Liked” their page on Facebook and look forward to learning a lot more about food). This book is on my birthday list and for turning 30 this year, I really want to rock life and that includes cleaning up my eating a little more. I’m already good with eating, but I could avoid cheeses and dairy a little more and seek other alternate sources of protein. I’m excited about the new Volume for my life to begin and to inspire others to take care of their lives as well and I think this book would certainly help me do that.; )
These are all on my wish list of books. Thanks for the opportunity to move them to the reading list.
Thanks for the inspiring stories and great recipes… Would love to win!
I ‘Liked’ them all! I am currently serving in the Army and have always been ‘fitness minded’ but never truly dedicated. Not dedicated enough that my weight spiraled out of control a bit and I started to be considered pre-hypertensive. I eased into it, but am now fully Paleo and have never felt better. Through rigourous exercise and eating Paleo, I have lost 30 pounds, am in the best shape of my life and my blood pressure was just 107/63! Bring it on, Im ready for anything! I would love the reading opportunities, I will soon be stationed away from my family and will be honing my skills in the kitchen and trying to fine tune my ‘diet’ (not really, I think the word DIET intimates and END at some point, Paleo is my way of life now, not a DIET) and see how far this thing can go for me. ARMY STRONG everyone!
I “liked” you on Facebook. I looked for your book in Costco – congratulations! Love your blog – thanks for this giveaway
Did you find it in Costco??? At this point it should be available in ALL stores!!! : )
I have had my eye on Practical Paleo since I found out it was being released — I have been going back and forth over pre-ordering for about a month, since money is a little tight right now. I would so love to win this book!! Or any of them, for that matter
Thanks for the chance!
I “liked” Sweet Potato Power and Balanced Bites! I just love your blog, and my husband loves the recipes I have tried from it
We are big sweet potato fans, and I’d love to find an alternative with cooking to taking thyroid medication. Thanks for the give-away…here’s hoping we win! Come-on $300 prize!
I would love to read “It Starts With Food”, or really any of the books except for Dwyer’s (I’ve already read it). I’m a recovering vegan of 12 years and have been doing paleo for the last 2 months. I’ve never felt better!
I already like your page! And I would LOVE any of the above books:)
all of these titles are my wishlist – i’d love to get them!
What an awesome giveaway!!! I think I already like all of these on facebook! The Tropical Traditions giveaway would be great – we’re moving 1,000 miles in a month so I’m having to liquidate and will have to re-stock once I move! All of these books sound awesome and would be great to add to my Paleo cookbook collection!!! Thanks for the chance!
I’ve liked your page for a looooooong time now. I’ve heard great things already about the practical paleo book already and would love to add that book as well as the sweet potato one to my collection! Fingers crossed!
I liked all the pages on Facebook! I love being able to get my hands on great Paleo/Healthy living guides so I can share what I learn with my CrossFitters and clients!
I would love to win! My family just started our Paleo journey about 2 months ago. It’s funny now we have all our friends and family jumping in around us because the changes in how we feel and look are amazing! I would love to expand my library with the books listed, they are all on my wish list.
Thanks Sarah for helping guide me through this journey! Lots of love from Houston!
Just love all of the wonderful information you provide! ‘Liked’ all of the books FB pages and am excited to start getting more recipes and food plans! Thanks so much!
I am SO excited about this giveaway and hope I win…something! I am new to paleo and am loving it!! I find meal time exciting as I try new recipes. I have already ordered your book and am supposed to receive it today. Can’t wait to read it! My journey so far…and I am really new, like 3 weeks new…I have lost weight and have no more heartburn! I was someone who had it every day and had to take 2-3 tums every night just to sleep. I have had such relief in this area. I definitely have more energy as well. Any of these books would be so helpful and inspiring right now
Thank you for sharing all your wisdom and knowledge with us!
this is such a great giveaway! i’ve liked them all on facebook. i love reading about all of the health and nutrition benefits of following a paleo diet. i try to adhere to a 80/20 way of eating paleo, and i am looking to start a whole30 at the beginning of august.
Oh yes, I do like you on facebook already! Actually, love!!
Great post! Dean Dwyer and Sweet Potato Power are new to me – so will enjoy poking around there! Thank you! The others are on my radar, in shopping baskets or all ready ordered.
Brilliant.
I went ahead and liked all of them on facebook.
I’d like to win Make Shift Happen. But that gift certificate would be awesome too.
Thanks! Looking forward to your new cookbook.
Would love to be a winner. Oh! Wait…I am a winner already. I am so blessed that a friend opened our eyes to Paleo. It’s only been 3 months, but I love it! The family cookbook has been pre-ordered and I’m impatiently waiting, lol. I enjoy checking in on the handful of FB pages. The motivation is great! Thanks for all you do.
I liked your page before the giveaway, and will like it after- even if I don’t win! As a fellow Chico-gal I love seeing your continued success!
I’m already a fan of your facebook page. let me first say…Thank you for your blog! It’s been so helpful. I just love your first book, Everyday Paleo. I’ve checked that out more than once from the library. You have made it easier for me and my family to live a , Paleo lifestyle. This is such an awesome giveaway and I would be happy to win any of them. Thanks again!
The pages are already liked! I CANNOT wait to get my copy of Practical Paleo, but I definitely want a copy of your new book!
I need all the info to be able to explain to my family (especially my husband) the significance of eating paleo! All the recipes and meal plans would be soooo helpful as well!!! Please keep the recipes coming-more videos would be wonderful! Thank you!!
I have liked you and all of these stellar paleo people on Facebook and look forward to being “in the loop!” I am relatively new to the world of paleo and would LOVE to get my hands on any of these books. I am a sponge right now trying to soak up as much paleo goodness as I can! Thanks for a chance at such an awesome giveaway!
Here is why I want any one of these books: my daughter has been battling stomach issues for the last 4 years. She likes to balk at paleo eating. I made some great paleo brownies one time and she kept requesting them and would eat the whole pan, if I let her. When I asked if she wanted to help make them and she saw what was in them, she was shocked. She even said those were something she could eat that would not upset her belly. I am NOT creative in the kitchen and value all that everyone out there has done to make my life easier. I need as many resources as possible to change my daughters idea about food ….
I would love to have the opportunity to read these books! My husband and I have been in the CrossFit community for 2+ years, and we have been putting off going completely Paleo. I have been wanting to complete a Whole30 for quite a while, so I’ve decided to finally put our health first and foremost, and we start one next week! These books would be soo welcome for all of their tips to be successful long term on a Paleo lifestyle!!
Not only do I “like” your page, but I like myself.
A lot.
LOL!!
I have looked at my library, my local book stores and even the recipe book section of my health-food store and I can’t find your book!!! I’d love to win a copy of any of these books, but especially yours! I’m 2 month into the Paleo lifestyle (and lovin’ it) and I couldn’t have gotten this far without your blog! Thank you, thank you.
I already “liked” your page and Dean Dwyer’s page, and I have been a long-time fan of Diane Sanfilippo and Balanced Bites. I also “liked” The Food Lovers page. I’d love to win any of these books.
Hi Sarah,
And I’ve added the Whole9. Definitely plan to add their book to my wish list. Thanks!
I’ve always “liked” you on FB!
It Starts With Food is on my list! And Practical Paleo sounds great. Thank you for sharing these books!
Can’t wait to read these books! Everyday Paleo was my first book that started me on this journey! I have liked all of the listed pages
The more paleo books that I add to my library the more confident I feel with feeding my family this way. Plus, the great recipies are the selling point to actually get my family to eat paleo. Thank you for all that you do and I can’t wait for your new book.
Love your FB page and would love to win a copy of one of these books. My husband and I have been slowly consuming as much advice and recipes as possible on Paleo cooking and living as we change our lifestyle. Every new recipe idea or tip helps us make eating Paleo our default way of life.
I already “like” your Facebook page. Everyday Paleo was my first cookbook that taught me about the paleo way of eating. There are so many amazing recipes in there that my family loves…some favorites are Rockin’ Moroccan Chicken, Puerto Rican Beef, and the Garden Fresh Meatballs! Thanks for introducing my family to a wonderful lifestyle! I would love to add any of the other cookbooks to my colllection because my favorite place to be is in the kitchen!
I would love any of the books! It would help me transition my whole family over to this healthy lifestyle.
Thanks for the giveaway! All these books look great, but I’m specifically excited about Practical Paleo because of the meal plans for autoimmunity. There are so many good paleo recipes, but not eating nightshades makes me feel so limited! I’ve liked everyone on FB.
Love your book, and liked your facebook page
I liked your FB page! Would love to have any of these books, they’re all on my wishlist at this point
Thanks for posting all of this great info! I’ve liked the pages on FB. I really enjoy reading your blog and have learned so much. My husband and I went Paleo 3 weeks ago (my in-laws have been doing it for 2 years and have seen so many health benefits). My husband has always liked my cooking but he thinks my Paleo cooking is even better! I love having so many resources.
I’m still new to this Paleo way of life…so any info for me is helpful. I would LOVE to have any and all of those books as right now I’m borrowing ones from friends. OH…and I “like” all the pages on FB!!
Hi Sarah! I am a newbie to your blog, and found it while I was researching the Paleo lifestyle. This research began, as my husband and I are trying to find a way to nourish ourselves with food for the rest of our lives. There are so many types of “diets” and though we both need to lose weight, I wanted a lifetime way to eat, not a “short term” diet. My husband is a Veteran, ex athlete, and an It professional, all of these past and current professions have led to disc degeneration, surgery, chronic pain & inflammation. Doctors seem to go directly to “let’s cut” and he has already had one fusion surgery (he is actually getting an MRI right now, as I write this for epidural shots) I intuitively felt that we needed to be in control & that started from the inside out, and what could I do to find foods that reduced inflammation & reduce nerve pain. My midwestern “meat & potatoes” husband wasn’t going to go for a eating plan that was vegan or raw…I needed to find a plan that was doable for the long haul…and this led me here! I look forward to the information, support & guidance ALL of these books will inform me with! Thanks!
I’m a total Paleo newbie, I’ve only been doing this about a month and both my husband and I have lost 17lbs each! I feel so much better eating this way than I’ve ever felt…EVER! I do feel like I, as well as my family (we’re all eating Paleo, and thanks to you Sarah…that includes our 5 year old son =), would definitely benefit from more information. I feel like so far I’ve been doing an ok job navigating the Paleo world, but I’m realizing there is a little bit of a learning curve. We’re on this journey for life, I have over 100lbs to lose and a few other health issues as well. My doctor insisted that I stick to the Paleo diet and I’m determined to do so! I’ve liked all of the pages, and appreciate your reviews =).
I WOULD LOVE any of those books! Paleo has changed my life by eliminating my debilitating environmental allergies and eczema, true story!
I would love the sweet potato book because my doctor thinks im infertile because of a lack of carbs in my diet. She wanted me to eat “healthy” grains but I think this might help me understand a better route.
Hi Sarah,
I love your blog and Everyday Paleo book. I have it in front of me right now, was looking for some new recipes to try tonight! My Husband and I have started eating Paleo in hopes of him losing some weight (working great for him) and in hopes of it making my inflammation and auto immune issues better/gone. Blood work is in a month
but I feel better already and have had the bonus of weight loss as well, I will take it!
I would love a copy of your new cookbook coming out, or any of the above books. Practical Paleo looks amazing as does It Starts with Food! Who am I kidding, any of them would be great!
I just found a local farm with grass fed beef and pork, can’t wait to take my business to them!
Thanks for all your guidance and insight!
Hey Sarah, I love your book and can’t wait to get the new one. Lucky for me it comes out just before my birthday
I’m also excited to read It Starts With Food, learning the “why” makes it so much easier to stick with the healthy foods. Once you know the damage that junk food is really doing it is so much easier to avoid. Miss you at the gym, hope to see you soon!
We have been living the good life for just over a year!
(I’ll have to confess to being more primal than paleo because we still consume dairy in our house, mostly cheese and Greek yogurt. With 2 kids, it was hard to come to terms with not drinking that “healthy” glass of milk with each meal, but we’ve been weaning them. They are down to less than a cup of whole milk each per day!)
You are my go-to website for meals! I love the Everyday Paleo book and use it all the time! We have read and re-read Paleo Pals several times as well. The kids are very interested in WHY we do what we do!
Consuming all this information has been a bit overwhelming, but I stick to it and I think my family has all been better for it! It all makes sense; the hard part is sticking to my guns when the kids complain or when the grandparents raise their eyebrows and just want a chance to “spoil” their grandchildren. I’m good at not being moved by the plight of my “gluten-free” children, but it can be exhausting!
I would love to read any of those books you reviewed above! Actually, I already have Practical Paleo pre-ordered. Ha! I love alliteration
Please toss my name in the hat! (And then draw it too!)
2 years ago I was introduced to paleo and one of my first resources was this blog. It changed my life. My chronic autoimmune disease is gone. I am so much healthier, happier, and more energetic! Thank YOU! I truly feel so blessed to be a part of this community. I would love to win any of these books so I can share them with others who I care about and who just need an extra push and some more positive info to set them in the right direction. Cograts Sarah and to the entire Everyday Paleo team! You all are truly inspirational, and I hope that one day I can help others as much as you have helped me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Hannah, 24 yrs old.
Already like your page, will “like” all of the book pages tonight when I can access FB!
Sounds like a great crop of books to help us all on our journeys!
Hmm. I just wrote a long comment, but now I don’t see it. (Won’t repeat, just in case it shows up.)
Please enter me in the drawing for all of the books.
I don’t have facebook (I know, I know, all my friends are frustrated too!), but if I did, I would LIKE, LIKE, LIKE, LIKE all the above!
I would love a copy of “its starts with food”. Im lookin to make upgrades to being low carb for the.Last 3 yrs, think it would be a great resourse for doing so.
I always like your blog and Facebook page! I would love to add these books to my collection!
I am so stoked about this giveaway… especially Practical Paleo! It’s been on my Amazon wishlist since I bought my first Paleo cookbook, Everyday Paleo! This journey is new to me and am planning to embark on a Whole30 journey beginning in August so any of these books would be a great tool!
I have “liked” you for awhile now as your blog is what got me started on paleo 4 months ago. A huge thank you for that as I feel healthy and downright awesome everyday. I have read It Starts With Food and then loaned it to my mom. She has Celiac Disease but was not interested in the least about my excitement for paleo. On the forth of this month, after getting sick from one of her gluten free packaged food deals, she asked me to give her the run down
so happy for her. As for me, I would love to read Make Shift Happen.
P.S. A 300 gift certificate would make me do the happy dance…I live 2 hours from any store that sells coconut oil or flour so I am an online shopping fool
thanks again for all the inspiration
I already like you on FB and the whole 9 and Balanced Bites and The Food Lovers! I would love any of these books or gift certificate! Thanks
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have this and start changing the lives of those around me (in-laws) by cooking up some great meals for them!!!
already like all these pages and would LOVE to read any of these books, thanks forn the givaway!
I’ve liked your page for awhile now – love all your posts! I recently liked Whole9′s page as well after Mark Sisson mentioned them in his blog! I have an extreme curiosity to dive into their book but haven’t quite convinced myself to purchase yet….I’d love to win a copy of any of the books you mentioned!
great reviews, thanks! i have been following Everyday Paleo, Whole 9, Balanced Bites and the Food Lover’s Primal Palate on FB for some time… great paleo community to keep me motivated and inspired! i’d love to read any of the books you reviewed, though my copy of “It Starts with Food” is in the mail now! thanks for your great blog posts and recipes! yours was one of the first blogs i stumbled upon earlier this year!
I am currently on Day 19 of the Whole 30 challenge and am loving this lifestyle. I haven’t felt ‘too full’, weighed down, or bloated this entire month and am convincing my co-workers to give it a try as well. I have ISWF and your cookbook as well and both are great! Would love to experiment with more recipes and try new foods.
I have “Liked” your website and Whole9 on Facebook. I am trying to learn as much as possible about the Paleo lifestyle. We are not 100% Paleo, however, my husband and I have both noticed a huge difference in how we feel when we stay away from grains and sugar. I would love to get my hands on Everyday Paleo, Practical Paleo, and It Starts With Food. I love your blog (AMAZING recipes), and I am constantly seeking more information!
I “liked” your Facebook page a while ago and today I “liked” all the rest of the pages you listed above! I would absolutely love to win one of these books, particularly Practical Paleo or the 30 day Intro to Paleo Ebook (I already have a copy of It Starts with the Food, which is awesome BTW
. I am slowly transitioning into a paleo lifestyle and have been CrossFitting for a little over a month and I am looking for ideas and inspiration to help me fully commit to the paleo lifestyle!
Congrats on the anniversary and everything you have done to help so many people.
I’ve “liked” your FB page for a while now and love it! I also subscribe to your blog on my RSS feeder. I am THIS close to eating Paleo but I just need that extra kick in the pants. I actually just downloaded the kindle version of the Shi(f)t book you mentioned above. But what I really want to do is convince my husband and kids that this is important stuff!!! Thanks for the chance to win these great books!
Would love to be entered in this giveaway. I’ve liked them all….2 of these books were already on my “to read” list. Thanks for all you do. I stumbled on to your blog last September and my life has changed drastically for the better ever since. Some of my extended family still think I’m a little crazy, but they’ve adapted somewhat.
Liked all! Would love to win a cookbook – would be my first real one (no more internet recipe searches)
I started my Paleo journey 13 months ago after my second child was born with a lot of road bumps along the way. I was 60 lbs overweight and it was so daunting to think about the journey ahead. I didn’t recognize myself in the mirror and was depressed. When I first started eating Paleo, I pretty much ate the same food every day (for over 2 months) and it was so boring. I fell off the wagon several times over the next 9 months. I turned a corner when my sister (Paleo and Crossfit follower) sent me your cookbook. It truly changed my life. I found so many recipes in it that I really loved. I’m proud to say that I’ve learned so much (but have so much more to learn) and feel stronger and healthier than ever. I’m in a Paleo/Non Paleo situation with my husband and family but I sneak in Paleo meals as much as possible. My husband really loves your Paleo Chili and the Pecan Chicken.
Recently, my sister suggested that I check out Mark’s Daily Apple and his blog recommendations have helped me find my “cyber support family” since my sister lives across the country. I’ve been researching Paleo cookbooks, blogs and iPad apps at every opportunity. In fact, most of the books you review above are on my Amazon wish list!
I’ve lost more than 40 lbs on my Paleo journey and am working on changing my thinking about the scale. I am focusing on being healthy, feeling good and loving myself. I hope to one day soon experience Cross Fit – but I’m still a little intimidated by it.
Thank you so much for your inspiration! I truly appreciate your willingness to share your recipes and what you’ve learned along your journey. I already “liked” your website and several of the others listed above. I look forward to attending an Everyday Paleo workshop sometime in the near future in Nor Cal.
LIKE LIKE LIKED!
I love your page! and will go and add the others. I have been considering going paleo and have been trying several of recipes. This would be the great kick in the pants to get me started. I’m looking for a place (inspiration) to start… then the motivation to keep going!
Thanks for the opportunity!
I liked your facebook! I really enjoyed your blog and appreciate all the hard work you obviously put into this! I will be back to read more! Keep up the good work
I already like you on Facebook. My fiancee and I are just over a month into the Paleo lifestyle. We initially started to shed some pounds for our wedding, but we have both agreed it’s more than that now. We feel amazing and full of energy and have both lost over 10 pounds! My son is away for the summer but we are already discussing how to get him to eat paleo too. Knowledge is power! We would love to have any of these books to help us out.
I am currently reading your Everyday Paleo Cookbook and loving it. I am so excited about the sweet potatoe book as well as your family cookbook to come. Thanks!! I also liked all the above FB pages.
Ive liked all the Facebook pages… was already a fan of most of them, including yours! Your Everyday Paleo cookbook is the one and only Paleo book that I own! and I love it, I just made a recipe out of it for dinner earlier this week!
Id love to be able to expand my paleo collection by winning ANY of these books! Even the ones that arent really “cook” books im sure are amazing and id love to read and own them!
Thanks for such a generous giveaway, I appreciat it and all that you do for us busy moms striving for a healthier lifestyle!
I’ve liked your page for quite some time and have your first book…received it as a christmas present.
I am really hoping to add all of these books to my home shelf in time. Based on your review, I’m most interested in Pracical Paleo. I recently found out my body is highly inflammed due to food allergies (eggs, milk, casein, almonds, cashews, canatoupe and tea). I’ve been paleo for close to a year and the egg, almond and cashew allergies help explain why I haven’t made any progress in losing weight. I’ve also been trying to recover from adrenal fatigue, which I realize now, hasn’t really happened because of the allergies. A book that addresses these kinds of issues AND does so in a paleo way, is exactly what I need right now!
Second attempt: I have liked a number of these pages and love the original book. Thanks!
I would love, love, love to win any of these! They are all on my wish list. I have been wanting to start eating paleo for some health issues, and just need to do it!
I’m almost finished with It Starts with Food (which is fabulous), and I think I’d like to take the dive into a Paleo Diet. I’d love to win a copy of Practical Paleo, so that I have another resource as I start to eat this way.
I can’t believe i hadn’t gotten around to “liking” your FB page before now! But it is done! I am anxiously awaiting the release of your new book, as Everyday Paleo is my most-used cookbook and guide in the house. I borrowed it from a friend at first, and as my post-its of pages to copy starting going on every single page of the book, i gave his book back and just bought my own.
I am slowly growing my Paleo reference book library (cook books, science, lifestyle, you name it), and each and every one of these books you reviewed have now been added to my birthday request list. In fact, I have hired my dad to build me another bookshelf as my paleo collection is outgrowing my current shelf space (and definitely will once I acquire any of these)!
I first heard of paleo when I was researching celiac and grain free diet. We started the journey to discovering my son’s “new” illness in January. When a “googled” celiac , the word paleo would pop up. My son’s celiac diagnosis was confirmed in March. He has since been on a gluten free diet. It’s been a struggle in the way of buying food for everybody. My other 2 children tested negative for celiac. I’m thinking I might head to Costco in search of Everyday Paleo, but I would love to read Practical Paleo as well. I mentioned the basics of the diet to my husband. He was not impressed to say the least, but I know we need to make for changes around here. Even though my oldest son(15yo) tested negative, he still has issues and unanswered questions, as well as both my husband and I.
I liked most of the facebook pages. I would love to win a book. I have been doing paleo for a year and loving the changes. I love being in a network of people who follow the paleo lifestyle. The more infomation and knowledge the better… Thank you for blog and congrats on your celebration.
I would love to have a copy of Practical Paleo. I have just started following a Paleo lifestyle to help with my weight and my recent arthritis flair up. I love to continually try different recipes. In fact my daughter just mentioned that I hardly cook the same meals twice – I am always trying different recipes. I would like to add Practical Paleo to my library and follow her plan for autoimmune conditions.
I have Liked your page and always enjoy seeing an Everyday Paleo post appear! Your Everyday Paleo was the first cookbook and reference book I read. It is one I recommend to anyone curious about beginning a Paleo lifestyle. Having worked for the largest “health food” store for 12+ years, I always believed I was eating healthy. I am thankful for CrossFit and Paleo(sites like yours) for opening my eyes and giving me a whole new perspective on food and eating. I was happy to see this list of books, as I am always looking for more information. I have already reserved two of these with my library, however, there are already waits for them even though they have not been released yet! So I may be buying them, or hopefully winning them!
I “like” the recommended Facebook Pages and am SO excited at the thought of winning any of the prizes! Paleo has truly changed our lives, and adding to our Paleo cookbook collection (or to our pantry via the Tropical Traditions $) would be so awesome!! Thank you for the giveaway oppotunity!
I have already liked your page…wish there was a love button! I went on vacation with family members from out of town and brought my new copy of “It Starts With Food” along with me. I ended up surrendering the book to a family member as she was so intrigued with the paleo/whole 9 lifestyle and wanted to learn more. I hadn’t gotten a chance to fully immerse myself in this book and would love a new one! Also the GC for Tropical Traditions would be AMAZING to say the least as I have become completely addicted to unrefined coconut oil!
Hi Sarah,
I already like you and Whole9 on Facebook and plan on doing the same with the rest of the list. As for the book list…Everyday Paleo was just what I needed and just at the right time to get me started on this journey. I have pre-ordered your Family Cookbook and can’t wait until that arrives! I have even pre ordered Chrissy’s book “Paleo Slow Cooking…”
I have finished It Starts With Food and LOVED it. I started my whole30 and am now on day 32 today with no plans of stopping!!. I plan on ordering 4 more copies of #ISWF to give to those I love and want to see improve their health.
Just this morning I downloaded The Food Lovers E book, I have had a quick chance to glance through it and can’t wait to try some of those recipes!!
Dean Dwyer’s book is on my Amazon wish list and I am definitely going to add the rest!
Thank you so much Sarah for bring all these wonderful books the attention they deserve.
I would love to win a book for my daughter! We have been Paleo for about a year now, but it’s my daughter who is truly obsessed! She reads everything she can get her hands on about Paleo nutrition, and has been inspired to become a future nutritionist who educates and helps others. She spends hours in the kitchen, has aspirations to create her own cookbook, and at age 15, has become a most passionate follower of this and other websites. I went ahead and ‘liked’ you on FB, and are appreciative of your generous offer!
I have already liked 2 of the pages. I would especially love the new Whole9 or Balanced Bites books. Thanks for the giveaway!
“Liked” you FB page a while ago. “Liked” all the pages above as well. I would LOVE to win any of the books or the Tropical Traditions gift certificate. I LOVE the PALEO lifestyle. Thanks for all you do Sarah. You’re the best!!!
I already like everyone here and have most of these books but I’d love to win a copy so I could donate it to my local library!
I would love to win any of the books! I have been toying with the idea of buying some new motivation and any one of those books would be a big help!
I’ve followed and liked your page and blog for a while now. I bought Everyday Paleo and it inspired me to get started. I liked it so much that I bought a copy for my Celiac mom too and I got Paleo Pals to get my two kiddos on board (still working on that one!) I liked the sweet potato power facebook page and bought the book for Kindle and I liked the whole9 facebook page and blog and just yesterday I bought their book as well. Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy. I buy most of my books with gift cards that I get from swagbucks since I have a very limited income and just haven’t saved quite enough for Practical Paleo yet. I liked the fb page though so I can get sneak peeks as they are released ;o) Thanks for the great giveaway and keep up the great work!!
I like your facebook page and I would really enjoy owning the ‘It Starts with Food’ book since their blog it what got me started on this journey to begin with.
Please, please, please help! I am trying to do doctoral work on nutrition/psychological illnesses and I would love to have some of these resources. I am also a mother of two, crossfit athlete, and am trying to transition my family to paleo. I need all the help I can get LOL ;0)
I stopped using FB almost a year ago (was an early adopter, when you still had to use a .edu email to register).
Too bad for me but good luck to everyone else!
Most of these books are on my wish list already, so would LOVE to win any one of them!!
I like your page and I would LOVE to win any of these. Congrats, and thanks for the giveaways!
I went to Facebook and Liked all of the pages (already had yours Liked ages ago).
So hard to pick which book I would like to win, as they all sound & look amazing!
rollerbeth at gmail dot com
Hey there – I got to meet you when you stopped by the CFLB suite – turns out Gina and Melissa were right out front – they were bummed to miss you – not sure if you all ever found each other. Anyway – Liked your page (thought I already had) and already liked all the others too – would love any of these books – and can’t wait for your seminar at CFLB in Oct!
I already liked your page and went to like the other pages! I am just starting out with the Paleo lifestyle and still learning! I have and use your book and I’m reading It Starts with Food now. Would love to add some cookbooks to my collection and share the meals with my family! Thanks for all the information!
Liked!
We are so on the same wavelength! I just picked up “It Starts With Food” at Barnes! I was so excited to find your book at Costco also. I stuck it on top of all the yummy paleo food I can find there. I Can’t wait to win one of the other books or even a signed one that I already own (positive thinking!).
Thank you for taking the time to inspire us all!!
I have been dying to read the new Whole9 book- or any of the ones you listed really. Thanks and congrats on two year of blogging!
I don’t have a Facebook (too many kids, too little time) but I LIKE like your page! I visit almost daily. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia almost two years ago, and eating Paleo has changed my life for the better. I just finished my first Whole30, and that made things even better, and your recipes helped save my bacon for the last month! Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!
these all look great – i’ve already “liked” your facebook page and would “love” to receive a copy of any of these books, but i’d be particularly interested in “The Whole 9″ to help me explain and sell this whole Paleo thing better to my friends & family. it’s worked great for me for well over a year now, but i still struggle with explaining why it works and why it’s made me the healthiest i’ve ever been.
I came to paleo a little over a month ago so I’m still a newbie. I am finishing up my “whole 30″ challenge and am on day 28 right now – I feel fantastic! I don’t think I felt absolutely terrible before but all the things that I thought were “normal” before, I can now see as totally NOT. I got here after a long history of digestive issues (with the IBS term thrown around by my doc a few times), followed later by infertility and PCOS. A couple months ago I was diagnosed with allergies to both gluten and eggs (plus dairy just never really agreed with me either). Out went pretty well all refined carb products since even the gluten-free ones typically have eggs, as well as anything that comes in a box, bag, or package as most of it became suspect from probably being filled with wheat. So then I heard about the Whole 30 and paleo and it made a lot of sense since I basically had to eliminate all things non-paleo due to allergies. In this very short time-frame my energy level has gone way up, my mood is better, and the random, daily indigestion and digestive discomfort is gone. It’s almost shocking. I would LOVE to have any of those amazing books, especially anything with lots of meal plans or recipes…while I’ve kind of gotten the hang of the basics, I love to cook and need to start taking it to more creative heights! I love your blog, Sarah, as it has so many great ideas…keep up the great work!
All of these books are either something I want to read or something I want to hand to “that friend”. I’d love a second copy of ISWF and was just about to pull the trigger on the sweet potato one. Now I’ll have to wait till Sunday
I love learning about anything new on paleo. My family and I have been on paleo for about six months. We are American Indian and have been trying to share paleo with other family and friends. We have three young kids and they love your kid friendly meals. It would be great to get your new book. Thanks for all you do. Love your Facebook and blog. I liked all other Facebooks.
I would love to have a copy of any of the books. I’ve been eating paleo for about 3 months and it’s the only thing that has finally tamed my IBS!
I already like you on Facebook and most of the others, too!
Thanks for all the inspiration you’ve been giving me through your book and blog! Even though I’ve been eating Paleo for a few years now, I’m still learning new things every day, and I don’t think I’ll ever stop learning about it. Every book provides new and useful information to make me able to personalize my diet even better. I’d love to win any of these.
what a fun giveaway – any of those books would be fantastic. and I already ‘liked’ you on facebook!
I really would love to receive Practical Paleo. I JUST started eating paleo – like 3 days ago – and really need some great recipes, especially easy recipes as I am a busy girl. I also gotta learn to spice things up so my husband and I don’t eat the same meals every week. Thanks for the great give-away opportunity!
All these books look great! Just bought your book at Costco. Very excited! But never can have too many books to get inspired!
Keeping up with your site on a daily basis gives me ideas and keeps me motivated to not fall into the bad eating habits traps we encounter every day. We’ve tried several of your recipes at home and have thoroughly enjoy them! Keep up the good work.
I almost feel smug because I already liked all of these pages on Facebook – but, I don’t really feel so smug because I have so much still to learn. Thanks for being a part of that process!

Your book and blog are the best!
I have all of your books already, Sarah. I can never decide if I need your first book in the kitchen for recipes or in my room for refreshers on my paleo journey. My son loves me to read the Paleo Pals to him. And my daughter has read it to herself several times. I have the kindle version of Dean’s book. Both he is inspiring and amusing. A really good read. I would love to have any or all of the other books to add to my arsenal of weapons against the Paleo nay-sayers.
Thank you ALL for all you do for us. I’ve been Paleo for 1 1/2 years now and I still can’t get enough info to digest.
I liked your FB page. Thanks for the giveaway. All of these look like awesome books. I would love to win one!
I like you on FB and I actually already have your Everyday Paleo book which I really like. I’m looking forward to your latest book!
I liked the pages and would LOVE any of these books to help with my healing protocol.
Not entering, just wanted to say CONGRATS on all of the wonderful things you mentioned. You should celebrate!
What I love most about your blog (and why I always try to promote your blog and book, lol) is that your heart to help always shows through.
I would love any of the above books (although I already bought your Everyday Paleo book). New paleo books inspire me to stick with it even when my kids complain about not being able to eat mac and cheese, etc. I need that extra motivation! Thanks…I use your cookbook almost daily. Our favorites are the meatload and lasagna.
It Starts With Food and 30 Day Intro to Paleo would be amazing books to read since I just started this journey! I also would love to read Everyday Paleo. I also liked your page on Facebook!
Fingers are crossed
I also liked your fb page
I’ve been (trying) to go Paleo for a few years now. Thanks for all the recipes, tips, and suggestions that have helped me to do so!
I liked you on FB. I’ve been reading your blog but hadn’t gotten around to your FB page yet, so this was great motivation! (maybe I need Make Shift Happen?). Actually, Practical Paleo is probably what I really need – I am fairly new to paleo and I feel like there is so much to learn! Thanks for making it so much easier. (My husband also thanks you – he loves your recipes!)
Pick me! Of course, I already “like” you on facebook and love your books so do my babies. Who remind me when I seem to stumble that eating healthy will help us feel well.
Yes please ! enter me to win!
I liked you on FB! Love the book reviews!! I’ve read ISWF and am actually going to read it a 2nd time. Got my parents to read it and now the whole family is making changes
Would love to win a copy of any of the books above…mmm, sweet potatoes!
I liked your page – and would love it if given the choice:) I would welcome any of the new books. I love how I feel when I eat Paleo and I know it’s right for me – but some how I am lacking the motivation! Any new book could and will get me excited to stay the course!
I’m already a fan on your Facebook page. I’ve already pre-ordered Practical Paleo but would be interested in your new cookbook and It Starts With Food. LOVE your recipes and look forward to seeing more. And who could resist a Tropical Traditions gift certificate when they are selling coconut oil by the gallon?!?
I would love any of these books! I liked you on FB!
I’ve been checking out every book from the local library with paleo in the title since January, and would love to actually own one! Of course the gift card prize would be awesome too.
I can’t wait for Practical Paleo to come out. Thanks so much for the heads up on it.
Liked all the pages! Very excited about all these books.
I “liked” your Facebook page.
I liked a few more pages on FB but have “liked” yours for some time now.
Happy FB/Blog-iversary!!!!
Awesome! Just finished Robb’s book and I can’t wait to dig through all of these books! Want to find a way to integrate my eating into my family’s meals without disturbing ‘the force’ – hoping your blog and all of its resources, including these new books, will help!
i’d like to win the practically paleo book especially bc it is on a timely topic
I like pretty much ALL of the above sites on FB!
I would LOVE any of the books- they all look awesome! Been paleo since March & trying to get me family on board. I love your blog- thanks for taking the time!!
I would love to win any of these books, but especially the 30 Day Intro to Paleo. I need a change in my life and want to learn more about the Paleo lifestyle but don’t know how to get started.
I would love to win any of these! I am a college student with funds that are very lacking, but have a huge interest in getting healthy! I would love to learn from one of these books!
I already like several of the pages on FB and have followed your blog for a long time now. I have been paleo for nearly two years and would never go back. I would love to win any of the books. Even though I do know what works best for me at this point, I am always on the lookout for new resources and recipes. Oh, the TT give away makes me giddy with excitement! Thank you for all you do. You were instrumental to the start of my paleo journey and have forever changed my life.
I don’t have Facebook, but wanted to enter here on your blog! I would love any of these books! My life has been forever changed from reading your blog and learning about Paleo. My sister introduced me back in February (and your blog was at the top of her lists of MUST reads) and my health has never been better! I feel like I’m learning something new every day. I want to shout “Paleo!!!” from the rooftops! And I feel so fortunate to have found this now, as I raise young children. When my 4 year old asked me the other day if a food had “accidents” (aka – antioxidants) in it, I knew I was on the right track. Thank you for all you do!!! : )
I like your page on Facebook, and all the others as well. There are still a few of these books I need to add to my library, so I’d be thrilled to win a copy. And who doesn’t love coconut oil?!
Thanks for the recommendations for the books about the paleo lifestyle! We are in the process of switching to the paleo lifestyle and we are slowly trying to learn more about the best foods to be eating and planning menus. We would love to win any of these books so I liked your facebook page. Congrats on your two year facebook anniversary!
I never entered so many contests until I went paleo a year ago. I already have It Starts with Food, but any of the others would be awesome additions. Just an hour ago my co-worker and I were admiring Paleo Comfort Food and Everyday Paleo at Costco. We didn’t buy them, because the universe was obviously telling us we could win them instead
Good luck everybody.
I’d love to win any of these books, especially It starts with food. My sister and her family have started this and she wants me to start also, thinking it would help me feel better. Pick me
Love your site and I liked you on FB.
Thank you for the giveaways and for your amazing recipies, love them!
Hi Sarah! Of course I have “liked” your page since we started this journey in April and I had the pleasure of meeting you at seminar you did in Redding. Our little family of 11 has been paleo strong for almost 4 months now and there is no turning back! I have “liked” all the other pages and you’re right about It Starts With Food. It changed my life.
I havecooked my way through Everyday Paleo and my family and I love the food and health benefits (I especially love seeing the pediatrician less frequently
I hope I win another book with Paleo recipes or the explanation of paleo eating to help cement the lifestyle more firmly. Thanks for a great blog!
Sarah, I liked you on FB and the other authors as well. We’ve been “Paleoing” for about 9 months. My husband and I have experienced dramatic changes. Many of the first recipes that we started with we’re from your blog, and then your book. It seems like I can’t read enough on the subject, so I’m always pleased to new books come out. I just started reading “It Starts With Food” last week! Thank you for all that you do to keep us informed, and enjoying yummy food!
I”ve just started to try to eat right and having any or all of these books would be so wonderfully helpful!! Please pick me to win a book!!
I liked you on Facebook:)
I liked your page a while ago and now have liked all the other pages. I am new to Paleo. I was in search of a natural and healthy way to loose weight (due to heart surgery and being overweight) and literally stumbled on a website (http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/). From their I kept researching and stumbled on your website (http://everydaypaleo.com/). It was easy to understand and follow and pretty much cost nothing. I bought your Everyday Paleo book to get my self and the family started. I’m just beginning my journey (family too) and we love the way we feel. I would love to win Practical Paleo as I love to cook, love hard copy cookbooks and need more recipes to keep me going. I have pre-ordered “Everyday Paleo Family Cookbook” and can’t wait for its arrival. I love my new eating style. Thanks for your blog, facebook and all the information you provide!!
I liked Balanced Bites on Facebook. Thanks!
I liked The Food Lovers Primal Palate on Facebook. Good thing about this competition, it is making sure I “like” all the blogs I love so I won’t miss posts.
I liked Dean Dwyer on Facebook. Thanks again!
I have been a fan of yours since I first found your site about a year ago,and I have liked your fb page for about the same time. I also liked The food lovers. The info you give is so easy to understand. I have had many health issues the last year and its finally kicked into my brain that I need to not just read about a paleo lifestyle I need to do it. I would LOVE any of the books but your new book would be the bomb and add to your first book which I got right after it came out. And eaither way I Just Want To Say THANK YOU:-)
I would love a copy of any of these books!!
Except for Sweet Potato Power, I already have it and love it!!
Love Diane Sanfilippo, love her podcasts so I know the book will be great!
I Liked everyone (some I already did, like you!). I am so looking forward to the new releases!
Hi I’ve liked those pages (already had liked your page, diannes page and the whole 9 page) but I’m eager to win either the whole 9 book or the practical paleo book. I already have a couple of books (yours, make it paleo and the mark sissons books) but would really love to win a copy of any of these books to help my paleo journey.
Hi Sarah – I “like” your facebook page and love your Everyday Paleo book, I just picked it up from the library and this is a keeper I will be buying it if I don’t win it. I have been gluten free and trying Paleo for 2 months and what a difference it has made in my life. Thanks for this great giveaway!
Liked your Facebook page! I would love to win any of these books as I’m just getting started and learning about Paleo!
I liked Whole 9 on facebook, I would love this book too!! Always love great Paleo recipes that I don’t have to omit ingredients.
We “liked” you on FB quite some time ago but were happy to find the others that were suggested and”liked” them as well!! We are fairly new to the Paleo lifestyle and some days it truly can be a struggle, especially while converting our 4 children
Looking forward to the release of your new cookbook and would love to get my hands on some of the others!!
I just liked your facebook page too!! I am new on facebook and didn’t realize you had a page!
I love your website, and can not wait to read your books! I am fairly new to the Paleo lifestyle and have lost 20 lbs. so far. But really I just want to just get my hands on any information I can! I would really appreciate winning this giveaway!
Im drinking in everything Paleo that I can & would love more info & recipe ideas!!
I “liked” them all! I’m pretty new to paleo and love finding new info and recipes
Thank you so much! I already “like” all of these fabulous people! Love your book!!!
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the work you do! After years of struggling with weight, health issues, and constant pain, a doctor discovered I have multiple food allergies. When he told me I would have to be on a strict Paleo diet, I was stunned. I didn’t know where to turn for ideas. Thank you for helping me in my endevour to switch to a Paleo way of life! Your recipes are delicious and I don’t stress about how to change up my meals.
Oh yes, I just liked you on Facebook and would love a book!!!
I already like most everyone listed. I’d be so lucky to receive any book listed! Miss seeing you at the gym, Sarah!
Our family is about 8 months into our Paleo journey. Can’t wait to read the new books!
Thank you for the list, I’m always looking for new information on Paleo, as well as new receipts and books. This was perfect! I’m especially looking forward to It Starts with Food, as I’ve been wanting to become articulately knowledgeable about the science behind this program. This sounds like a great text for that.
I would love these book to add to my new and growing collection. Paleo is newer for our family and these would be really helpful for continuing on.
I would love to have a Paleo book! My husband and I did Paleo for about a month and have drastically changed our diets but we are having a hard time not having a little sugar and dairy occasionally. I think a book of new creative recipes would get us back on track!
I’ve liked you on Facebook! Thanks for all the wonderful posts! They certainly help us “newbies” in the Paleo world.
I liked your page and others. I’m just starting this way of life and these books would be a great beginning for me.
I LOVE the Everyday Paleo Cookbook. I just started experimenting with the Paleo lifestyle a few months ago and this has been my “go to” book for recipes (along with the blog). However, I could use some new books to try as well
My husband and I have been eating Paleo for about three months now and love it, but I feel like I still have so much more to learn and gain from these books. We have yet to transition our kids over to Paleo, but want to do so. They eat so many processed foods and bad carbs. But I need some advise on how to make this change when your kids are picky eaters to begin with…Hoping these books could help.
I would love to win one of these books because I really don’t know that much about the paleo lifestyle, but would enjoy learning more about it. Over the years I have tried many diet lifestyle programs, but can’t seem to lose 25 pesky pounds. I would be curious to know if this program would help.
I am already a subscriber on your facebook page.
I would love to win any of these cookbooks to start off my collection! Thanks for such an awesome giveaway!
I would love one of these or the gift certificate. I’m big on educating myself and would love to add these to my library. Thanks so much for the opportunity!
I love your recipes and would love to add any of these cookbooks to my (small) collection! I liked you on Facebook, too
I would love to win a book. Whenever I need some motivation, I love flipping through a beautiful cookbook to get me inspired. Some gorgeous meat does the trick too.
Hi Sarah!
I liked your FB book page. I would love ALL the books listed above. Most are on my Amazon wishlist! I would especially love Make Shift Happen. It sounds like a kick in the pants I need when I rationalize eating something nasty with the thought “I’ll go Paleo tomorrow”. It also sounds like a great loaner book to share with others who don’t quite understand Paleo.
Sally
PS-Everyday Paleo has a permanent spot on my cookbook holder in the kitchen. I truly love it!!!
I would love to expand my paleo library. I am always in need of more recipe ideas. Your Everyday Paleo book has already started me down a much healthier pathway. Let the journey continue!
I liked all the facebook pages…excited to follow these guys & check out infonon their pages. I have recently started the Paleo journey and I’m so anxious to keep learning more so I would love to win any of these books….thanks!!
I liked your fb page! Thanks for the amazing giveaway. Many paleo recipes use coconut milk. Can I use so delicious coconut milk instead of canned coconut milk?
My husband and I just started eating palo 2 weeks ago and are loving it so far! We are still struggling with getting all the kids on board!
Love your site and would love to win! I also just found and “Liked” you on Facebook!
I love your website and your book thanks for the advice on more books because i am new to paleo
Ive liked your Facebook. Loved your workshop in Laguna in Feburary. Keeping my weight maintnence successful (72 pounds off )by eating Paleo and cooking recipes from your book. Than you for being a part of my transformation! Best wishes on the new book and to your family. Karen P
I learned about eating paleo about a month ago after I felt like crap from stuffing myself with a pizza. This was happening way too often and I felt I had to do something, but was at a loss as to what.
I’m not overweight, but I was definitely getting sick of feeling bloated and disgusting after eating (more like binging!) or feeling hungry an hour after eating the all important low calorie meal.
I googled body detox and came across the 21 day sugar detox and paleo. As soon as I read what it was about I knew it was right and that it was what I needed to do.
Even though I am very new to this I know there is no way I’d go back to my old way of eating. I am now working on getting my 3 & 5 year old children on board. I own Everyday Paleo, The Paleo Solution and Eat Like A Dinosaur. I would certainly welcome a new addition to my collection and would love you all except FB only lets you like, so that’s what I did!
Thank you for taking the time to share all that you do so that the rest of us can benefit as well!
I am one of those hold outs and am not on Facebook but if I was I would definately like you. All of the books sound fabulous, I would love any of them. I have been thinking about the paleo lifestyle but haven’t gotten a book yet to read up on it, but I would love to get the info so I can get me and my husband started!
I love your blog and I use your first book all the time for ideas! I try to get as many paleo books as I can, and I’ve been eyeing Practical Paleo for a while and cant wait to read it. I liked your page as well as a few of the others, great reviews, I hadn’t heard of a couple of the books, and they look really interesting!
I just heard about everyday paleo & i’m excited to learn more & get started!
I liked you on Facebook.
I’d love any of the books, but I think Sweet Potato Power would be my fav. I never ate sweet potatoes, yams or whatever you call them, but I’ve trained myself that they don’t taste like that baby food sweet potato casserole my dear Mother pawned off on the fam and I love them roasted or baked.
Oh, I liked everyone else on Facebook too!
I would love to win any of them because I am just starting my journey and will take all the help I can get!
Liked your Facebook!
Thank you so much for this opportunity! You already provide an absolutely amazing blog and cookbooks on paleo, which I am grateful for. I follow all of the above listed on Facebook – makes it extremely convenient to stay up to date with them. I like to keep my caveman happy – one of these books would do just that! Thanks again.
I “liked” your FB page (a long time ago!) I agree with your thoughts about “It Starts with Food,” and about 1/2 way through it now. It is informative and motivational and would consider it to now be on my list of “good books for new or curious people to start with.” Thank you Sarah!
Totally liked AND want the books!
Happily, I already “liked” you, Food Lovers and Balanced Bites. I have now “liked” the other 3 as well. I can no longer eat gluten in any way, shape or form. But, am now eating more paleo and finding it much better on my body and my mind. But, this is a new lifestyle for me; am just 3 months in being gf. So, winning any of these books will just help set me up for success! Many thanks! Kelly
I just started eating Paleo a few weeks ago to try and heal myself from crazy neuropathy pain in my legs and feet and also to come out from the strangle hold that sugar has on me. I’ve been reading a ton about the diet but would love one of these books, they all sound great!
My husband and I have been eating Paleo since May. We love it. We have both lost weight and have more energy. I no longer have that bloated feeling at the end of the day. I love Everyday Paleo and I own 2 of your books. I would love to win on of the others. I liked you on Facebook.
Leslie S
Liked on facebook! What great giveaways
I’ve liked your page for some time and also enjoy a few of the work of these author talented individuals
Thank you for all that you do in raising awareness and sharing experiences that help other people!
Thank you for all of your hard work! I turn to your first cookbook and blog often for recipe ideas and lunch box ideas. Our family is slowly transitioning to a paleo lifestyle. My husband and I definitely see the benefits for us and our 10 children.
I am not on Facebook so I hope this comment will enter me into the contest.
Thank you so much for your book and blog and all the delicious recipes–I’ve now “liked” you on FB, but I go to your blog way more than I go on FB!
I’ve visited each of these facebook pages, including yours, and “liked” them all. Have been trying to eat paleo for a few months and do really well for a while only to have a week or so where finances and time (lack of) seem to contribute to just eating what I used to eat. I’m raising 4 kids and they still want their bread! Would love to transition my entire home over to paleo affordably and successfully…without making everyone miserable and having teenagers that feel like their starving. The books look like they’d be an awesome resource towards that end. Thanks!!!
I’ve liked all their pages (most of them a while ago). We love your paleo recipes. I have psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis and eating paleo has made a huge difference for me.
These look like such amazing resources. Had already liked you on Facebook, but liked all of the above now as well
thank you!
I would like to receive the Practical Paleo, I like the meal plans, it’ll allow variety in the meals prepared for my family.
I just liked your FB page. I’m just starting to delve into the whole paleo world and ANY of these books would be extremely useful to me. I LOVE all that I’m learning so far and can’t wait to get myself more healthy and stronger with a more paleo lifestyle.
i like you on fb as well as diane’s fb page. would love to win.
I am very new to Paleo. Just starting researching about a week ago and I am sold on the idea – it just makes sense to me. I am trying to correct a lot of problems that I think were caused by the vegan diet I was on for several years, as well as some possible food allergies that I haven’t nailed down quite yet. In my web searches, your blog was the first to come up and I joined immediately. I also liked your Facebook page. I love all of the information you give, with a slant on family. I have a family of three, including a four-year-old, so that’s very important to me.
I do not yet own any Paleo books (been waiting for payday) and every single one of your books is on my Amazon wish list. I would *LOVE* the opportunity to snag one of them for free! Then I could buy another one, and start my journey with two great books. Thanks so much for this giveaway! Keeping my fingers crossed that I win.
I started toying with eating paleo about 2 months ago. I love the way I feel eating this way! I do have my “cheat” moments ~ fries, the occasional trip to get ice cream, but all in all, I’ve walked away from bread completely!!! Would love to get one of these books to learn more about going completely paleo.
I wish there was a “love” button on FB instead of a “like” button. I am so thankful that I can find practically anything I need to continue this lifestyle on the Internet. However, sometimes you just want to curl up on a cozy chair with a good book and read it and gain insight, information and recipes. I would love to win a couple of books! Plus — I do shop at Tropical Traditions and that gift certificate would certainly come in handy! Thank you.
Michele
I’ll take an entry and am liking you on facebook. I literally have all of those other books (cept the 30 day intro) in my amazon wishlist to read through after I finish some others. I jumped on your Everyday Paleo (it was at the top of my wishlist) at Costco after your last post. Super awesome for you and it was next to Paleo Comfort Foods. Fingers crossed that they carry over those ideas more into the food sections.
I liked Dean Dwyer’s facebook page!
Sarah,
I love your blog and your cook book, I cant wait to see the new one… I hope I win. Your simply Fab and I am still young but I plan on having Kids soon and will most def raise them Paleo and I plan on buying Paleo pals.
Thanks for being AWESOME!!!!
I’d like to own Practical Paleo because I think Diane’s meal plans for blood sugar regulation and autoimmunity could really help me and some of my family members.
Thank you for this great giveaway! I liked your page months ago as well as a few others that you have listed. Now, I “liked” everyone you listed.
I already like you on FB, but I’d love to win a copy of Make Shift Happen because I need that kick in the pants to stick with my paleo way of eating. I do well for a few weeks then I start slipping again!
We recently started a paleo-based wellness program at my company. These books would be a tremendous resource for me as I lead that in order to help get everyone on track and create a “paleo-library”
We are in Buffalo, NY which is one of the least food-educated cities around. My wife and I are passionate about the paleo lifestyle, as it has changed our lives. We want to spread the word and help change other people’s lives as well.
Sarah, I liked your Facebook. I also love your first book. I am new to Paleo and I am on week 2 of the 30 day Challenge. I love how I feel! The hard part for me is my 2 kids, age 7 and 9 and my husband. They see the results but refuse to change. I have been doing some research in how to make the transition easy for them. It breaks my heart that they don’t get it yet. Any of the books would be awesome in helping me with that struggle. Thank you for your amazing knowledge!
“Liked” everybody on Facebook! Great resources
Sarah,
Thank you for this perfect opportunity to say thank you. From listening to podcasts and reading your book and blog I have started to feel like I know you just a little bit. When I saw Everyday Paleo at Costco, and that you were releasing a new book I was so happy for you. I really wanted to send you a card or something, but thought it might be creepy. Now I can say thanks and congratulations as part of a contest, which seems a little less weird.
So, congrats on you’re anniversaries! It is truly something to celebrate! Your book is the first I recommend to friends starting paleo, and just like it’s title, is still the book I turn to for my everyday meals!
Thank you for all that you share with all of us! It has truly changed my family’s health and happiness!
Can’t wait for your new cookbook to come out! These others sounds wonderful too…I’d love to win any, but Diane’s book would be very helpful to me with autoimmune/thyroid info. Thanks so much!
I liked your FBpage…though I thought I already had!
I’d definitely be excited to grab a copy of Practical Paleo. As a Paleo Chiropractor, this would be a useful and valuable tool when helping practice members initiate lifestyle changes.
Thanks!
I have liked you on facebook and I love your blog. I make your recipes all the time! I would love to win one of the books! My boyfriend and I have just started our paleo lifestyle (about 3 weeks ago). My boyfriend does not do “diets” so, it took some convincing to get him on board.
Before paleo, I NEVER cooked. And now I think I may just get that engagement ring (7 years in). The recipes are so good! I can cook, who knew!
I will have to admit that I am beginning to get a bit discouraged. Although, I feel better I am gaining weight. My boyfriend is actually loosing weight. Also, with all the planing and cooking of meals it leaves me little time for much else. I have only been to the gym once since we started paleo.
I’m not sure if I am doing something wrong, or poorly choosing our meals. I would love to win one of the books that could help me with meal planning and saving time. I already own Make It Paleo and The Paleo Solution. Thanks!
I am a cookbook junkie, and I am really loving working with Paleo. I would appreciate any of the books!
What a great idea to introduce new paleo-friendly books by review, and an even better idea for a book giveaway. All of the above books look interesting, but I am most drawn to It Starts with Food. As I briefly reviewed, I was impressed with the multiple references sourced in this book. I have been a blog junkie of yours for over a year now, and rely heavily on your book for tasty recipes. My “go to” meal is your sun-dried tomato chicken bake over cauliflower and spinach. Always delicious and very easy. You and your family are truly an inspiration, a living example of health.
Thank you for the list of Facebook pages! I’ve liked them all to add to my paleo resources!
I’ve liked you on the facebook and I would like ANY of these books. I already have ISWF, but an extra copy would be awesome to have one to lend out! I’m also excited about Practical Paleo, since I have been making Diane’s chicken liver pate recipe and loving it – it would be great to check out her other recipes!
I visited and “liked” all the mentioned authors in this post, but I have been visiting your blog religiously for the last two months. I started my Paleo journey when I purchased Robb Wolf’s book “The Paleo Solution.” I am a bit of an info junkie, so I looked into every name-drop that was mentioned in his book (that is how I found this blog.) I have been soaking up the different ideas and approaches of the authors I come across and find comfort that this newly found lifestyle is not built in a “cookie cutter” fashion. With that being said, I find that I mill over your book and blog the most often and more than half of my food inspiration comes from the two!! I have minimal experience in the kitchen (I fear you hear this all too often nowadays) but with your guidance I am blossoming into a culinary butterfly! Truly, many thanks, and kudos for all your hard work.
My family has really been enjoying the recipes you post here. I’d love to win a cookbook or Tropical Traditions!
Had most of these folks alredy “liked’ on facebook. Congrats on your anniversaries. Can’t wait for new cookbook, my Everyday Paleo is very dogged earred!
I recently embarked down the Paleo road to better health. Your blog was the first one I stumbled across, and I immediately went out and purchased your book “Everyday Paleo”. I love your blog and book!! I plan all of my meals around them, and i visit your website DAILY! I don’t know what I would do without you!!! Once i realized you had a facebook page, I immediately “liked” it as well. You are an inspiration to many!!
Sarah, thanks so much for all the great knowledge you share. I am a busy mom of three young boys and your stories have given me great strength to find time for myself. I am going to purchase the book It Starts With Food, because I don’t think that there could be a more true statement. Can’t wait for it to arrive!
I “liked” all of them. You guys are great! Keep up the good work. Some of my family members are gradually changing over to no grains, but taking them longer than myself. I have felt so much better since going Paleo. I am glad that I have found Paleo and that there is so much more info out there.
I’ve liked your FB page for a while. Paleo has made a big difference in my health and would like to have any of these books for further learning and to share with my family.
I liked you on facebook!
I would love any of these books! I haven’t felt better since I started Paleo and have seen my hypertension disappear to the point of no longer needing meds. Even so, my husband needs more convincing…that is where these books would come into place!
Any reading material on paleo I want. I’ve never been so excited to be on the same track with my husband, both wanting the same end result, to be healthy and feel good. Thanks for all you do.
I’d like to win these books because I have them ALL on my amazon wishlist! Just haven’t found it in the budget to buy them yet, so this would be great! I like Whole30 on FB
I need all the cookbooks that I can get! Liking on Facebook = complete.
I need those books, please! I have been really working to go paleo for the last four months. I love it but would appreciate all the inspiration I can get.
Love & Shanti!
I would appreciate adding any of these books to my collection, but most especially Practical Paleo. I’m still trying to get my husband on board with this new way of eating so that we can change our health and start living. I work full time and go to school so it would be nice to have a “road map”, if you will, that could cut down on my time trying to figure things out and incorporate it smoothly into our daily routine.
Just liked your page on Facebook, but I have been following your site since beginning Robb Wolf’s 30-day plan and embracing a (mostly) Paleo diet ever since. My husband and I have lost a combined 45 lbs and three clothing sizes, and we can’t imagine ever going back to our pre-Paleo ways! With basil pork burgers, sauteed mushrooms, and homemade mayo, who needs buns?!
I recently picked up It Starts With Food and Everyday Paleo (thanks, Costco!), but I’ve been wanting to check out Practical Paleo and Sweet Potato Power–I’m dying to try out the sweet potato bar recipe! And of course, the Tropical Traditions gift card would be pretty amazing, too
I don’t do Facebook but would love to win one of these books. Recently investigating Paleo because of health issues. My girlfriend turned me on to your cookbook and Robb Wolfe. Love your Lasagne with zucchini! Hope you pick my name! Thanks
I so would love any of these books to help continue my healthy eating habits! Thanks for having the contest!
Paleo changed my life. I suffered from adult acne for 7 years, nothing worked. Then I started eating paleo and like magic it disappeared. I would love any of these books but your family cookbook excites me the most, I cannot live, or at least make a grocery list without my everyday paleo cookbook.
I began eating Paleo last October, and have been struggling a little lately with what I really should be eating (and not), besides being gluten free. I’ve been hoping for a tip about another good book besides Everyday Paleo, which I love! I liked your Facebook page a long time ago – you are a great source of info and support, which I really appreciate. I look forward to your new book!
I’m 22 years old and I was just married this past March. At 5’3” and 160lbs, I was tired of hating my body and the way that it treated me. At my heaviest, I was 183lbs. And good ol’ diet and exercise helped me take off 23lbs. But, my constant acne, headaches, weird stomach problems, and absolute exhaustion had finally taken its toll on me. So, when I finally plateaued and my midsection stopped shrinking, I started researching…there had to be a way to stop all this. But, I came to the point where research was just research…I was putting it off. I knew what I wanted to try, I just didn’t want to give up MY food.
I love to cook and I love a challenge, but a life without potato chips seemed like impending doom. Nonetheless, I liked your Facebook page, I bought Everyday Paleo, I saved your website to my favorites, and finally I bought Robb Wolf’s-The Paleo Solution book. In all honesty, I was skeptical…Paleo seemed EXTREME. :O I asked my doctor, I spoke to a nutritionist. But, I still wasn’t sure that cutting out dairy, sugar, and bread would be what was best for me.
Two weeks ago started my new Paleo life. I’ve completely lost that bloaty, gross feeling. I’m sleeping better and my acne is already clearing up. My headaches have not lessened, but I attribute that to my body releasing all that crap that I loaded it down with for 22 years. It’s hard, but I’m confident that I’ve made the right choice. With all that said, I’d love to have more information and ideas to stay on the right track!
Wow Sarah, this is great! I’d love to read the Whole 30 or the Practical Paleo book, both look awesome!
I’m a newbie to the world of eating Paleo and would love any of these books to help me on my journey!
This is a tremendous giveaway! I’d truly love to have any of them! I like all on fb as well.
I love your site and books – I have been Paleo for a year and a half and have had amazing health benefits, it is still a journey though and I would LOVE more cookbooks – especially to help me in getting my husband and 4 kids eating Paleo even more! Thank you for the chance! I will be crossing my fingers!
I liked you on facebook. When I found your blog I had never heard of paleo, but I was on a mission for better health for my family. Paleo just makes sense and we are starting our journey. I would love to have some books because any additional encouragement and ideas would really help! Especially need more ideas to help motivate my young son to eat his veggies.
Done, done and done! What an awesome giveaway
Facebook pages = liked!
I want IT STARTS WITH FOOD SO BAD!!! If I receive the free book, I would give it to my mom, a strong woman who although knows how to take care of everyone, has not being able to realize she needs to take care of herself! I want her to read this book so she can once and for all kick off her uhealthy eating habits and have good science to back her up!!!
AHHH I want Practical Paleo so bad! I love Well Fed and ISWF. I started a Paleo journey, then backed off and found myself eating Paleo anyway- so I’ve just kept going lol
I’m new to Paleo – just bought your first book actually and would love more Paleo resources. Thanks for the chance to win!
I also like you and Whole 9 on facebook!
THE $300 Tropical Traditions Gift card wouldn’t be so bad too! We cook 99% on coconut oil, and we can’t get enough of it. (My boyfriend and I already have a copy of your book and we LOVE IT!)
LAST COMMENT I SWEAR: I “liked” all of the facebook pages
I have been paleo for about 3 months now. I have lost weight and feel really good. My husband and kids are loving it too although they still have some of the nasties. I’ve even begun baking paleo…. WHo knew there were so many things to eat without using bread, pasta or rice. I’m never going back.
oops… I liked
Moved to a primal diet this spring and can’t believe all the extra health benefits! Sure would like to expand my knowledge.
I have a few of the cook books listed, but am extremely excited about Diane’s book. Her menu plans for people with specific issues is intriguing. I would love to have extra copies on hand of any of these books though because friends are constantly borrowing mine to give Paleo a try.
Liked… I would love to win these books, and my Paleo library needs for beefing up!
Not only have I liked your fb page but I also love your cookbook! I would love to win one of the new cookbooks that are about to debut!
I would love to win one any of these! I am new to paleo and need all the help I can get!!
Hi there! I’d love to win any of the items in this giveaway. I liked your facebook page. I’m about to start a 6-week paleo lifestyle challenge after being on and off paleo for the past 6 months. Any of these books would be super helpful!
I’ve been a devoted reader of yours since I made the transition to paleo back in January, but now it’s Facebook official! I also frequent Diane’s blog and listen to her podcast (her holistic approach hits home for me) and would love nothing more than to have the opportunity to get my hands on a copy of Practical Paleo! As an athlete living with Crohn’s disease, I’ve been working on finding the approach to paleo that both adequately fuels my lifestyle and keeps my Crohn’s in remission (the “magic equation,” if you will) and I have a feeling that if anyone has some ideas on what that might be, it’s Diane!
Thank you for all that you do, Sarah. Here’s to many more years of healthy blogging!
I’m in the middle of my second Whole30, and would love some more in-depth education from Dallas and Melissa in It Starts with Food!
“Liked” them! And I like you and your website. Thanks for encouraging me and others to stay on the path.
Hi! I’ve liked several of these too…and I’m DYING for a copy of Practical Paleo. I’ve been debating with myself whether I can afford to buy one and sadly the answer has been no, so far… even though it is not very expensive, I know. Budget is that tight
Liked you on facebook
Liked your page and would love a book any of them!
Liked whole9 on facebook
Liked sweet potato power
Liked balamced bites…so wjat her new book
Done! Love your cookbook! Can’t wait for your new one! I can’t find a place to preorder your book on my nook. Will that be possible?
I’m just starting to learn about the Paleo diet and would love to learn more about it!
I liked your FB page! Any of these books would be great to win. I have been eating paleo for a month now and I feel fantastic!
Did it! We are about 90% paleo and still do a little milk and cheese. I have three kids 5, 3 and 17 months and I totally agree that paleo is SUPER important, especially for kids. But I feel like it can be hard for kids too when they don’t get mac n cheese and McDonalds like other kids do. Mine are a good sports about it, because they still get good food to eat that they enjoy! I would love any of these cookbooks but especially yours since I know you have a busy life and cook for kids and understand what that is all about!
I have your books on my wish list, but just haven’t been able to fit it into the budget yet! If I don’t win here, hopefully soon I’ll get a copy! Thanks for all you do!
Since my brother introduced paleo to me about 5 months ago, I have found a whole new way of eating that I LOVE. At first I didn’t know if I could do without my bread and grains, but now I know I love meat and fat more than bread!! It’s such a soul-satisfying way to eat, and I feel so much healthier for it. My goal is to get the whole family on board and we’re about 70% there. The hubby still loves his bread! But we’re getting there. I love making paleo meals, and not telling anyone that they’re eating paleo, and then hearing the rave reviews. I have used so many recipes from Everyday Paleo….can’t wait for the new book! All the other ones look amazing, too…I see I’m going to have to add them to the library as well!!
I want to win because I have been struggling with Paleo for 7 months. I need motivation! And more recipes and info of course.
I’m just starting the paleo journey, so any of the books would be a tremendous help. I have seven kids and have just finished cancer treatments. I want to be around long enough to meet my grandkids so I know I have to start making some life long changes.
Hi there, I liked your Facebook page and would love to be entered into your contest. I would love any of the books for ideas, recipes and meal plans to stay paleo. Thanks,
Nicola
I <3 giveaways!
I already liked you on Facebook, so I went and "liked" everyone else. I already own Everyday Paleo but I would love copies of all the others and of course your newest!
I feel better eating Paleo and I'm tired of family & friends that think this is the weirdest thing ever. I don't miss the stuff I no longer eat. I really like what I eat now and I love reading stuff from people that live like I do.
Amazing health benefits to be had from paleo diet – good science and healthy food ia a winning combination!

I like you on Facebook! Just had my first Paleo lunch with a friend – it was great! She highly recommended your book! =)

I like The Food Lovers on Facebook too!
I like Balanced Bites on Facebook too!
I just recently started following the paleo lifestyle and any of the books would be amazing. Oh, and “likes” your page as well.
Just liked Whole9life since I liked your page last week! I finally decided to make the leap to paleo last week-I’ve been doing the plan in Robb’s book for one week now-so far so good! I ordered your book based on a recommendation from a friend and I am so glad that I did. Love the recipes, love your honesty, love your attitude! I am really looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me, I’ve been an athlete all of my life and I am sick and tired of weighing and measuring, restricting until I feel like I’m starving, and just overall feeling bad about myself at mealtimes because I wasn’t getting the results I wanted. No more! I feel like I’ve finally found a lifestyle that I can live with-and that my family actually enjoys too! BTW they want to thank you for the Chicken Dive In and Tuna Stuffed Deviled Eggs!!
Liked your FB page, enjoy your recipes and love eating paleo. It’s such a fab lifestyle… takes a bit of effort to navigate markets but I wouldn’t have it any other way
Liked your page and ordered 2 books!!
Super Like! A few I already “liked” and some new ones too! Those are some great giveaways
All the books look like great reads – always looking for more Paleo reading material! The Tropical Traditions gift cert. would be fantastic too!
I’ve liked all the pages on Facebook!
I’ve been your FB fan for a while. Your book was my first paleo purchase. I also have a couple of little ones that had to be converted to Paleo Pals. We homeschool and I used your Paleo Pals book as our nutrition curriculum since everything else follows the food pyramid. Now the kids know we don’t eat factory-produced foods, gluten, grains, sugar, etc. My husband finally got on board and has been paleo for the last 5 days. Yea!
I’m one of the 46,000+ who likes your Facebook page! Keep up the great work.
Btw, pick me, randomizer – pick me!
I liked you on facebook! I would love a paleo book to call my own!
I like you on FB! Thanks for such an amazing giveaway!
Hi! What a great giveaway! Sure hope I’ll get lucky
Struggling a whole lot with on-off paleo, finding it extremely difficult to stick with it during these crazy summer months. ISWF sounds like exactly what I need, but can’t afford at the moment. I just went and “liked” all of the above Facebook pages.
I liked your Facebook page. Love it!
Even if I don’t win, just liking all the fb pages will give me lots of motivation to start my Paleo lifestyle! Yea boi!
I like you on Facebook. I already own all of your books and have pre-ordered your new one and Diane’s also. I’d really like the TT gift cert. or Whole9 book.
I would love it starts with food or practical paleo because I’ve heard great things about both of them and im a fan of both blogs. Enter me into the contest pretty please.
My boyfriend and I just started eating Paleo. My doctor recommended it for my hair loss (I’m only 23!) and was really encouraged when some of the nurses said they went on the diet for hair loss as well. Im really excited but its sooooo difficult right now! (Week 3!) I miss my snickers bars but Im really looking forward to the positive health changes to come =)
Oh and I’ve had your facebook “liked” for about a week now and really enjoy it!
I am just starting my living paleo journey. I think that paleo makes sense! I had a stroke a few months ago and have since been working on making needed changes to my lifestyle and diet
I, of course, have liked you on FB
We’re loving the change to paleo and can’t get enough info. Could really use some help with the motivation though!
Liked the Balanced Bites page and *love* your page!!!
Thanks for being a Paleo inspiration!
Thanks for this opportunity to win such a great prize! Paleo, although I’m not even 75% there, has totally changed my life!!! I’m spreading the word like wildfire!

Like them all!!! LOVE your book!
Congrats on the 4 yrs blogging, here’s to many many more.
I liked your Facebook page for awhile. I first heard of your book a little over a year ago Everyday Paleo and know that several have used or drawn on it for inspiration from my box. I now eat zucchini raw in “sushi ” rolls and never knew it was good raw. Thank you
I just started my paleo journey about a month ago and I have already begun to notice significant improvements in the way I look and feel. I have a 4 year old who is a very picky eater and I would love to win a book that can help me transition her into this lifestyle.
out of the 5 sites to like i was a facebook fan of 3 already! i love the paleo lifestyle! i have been paleo for 6 months now and lost 30lbs, i am 47 yr old divorced mom of 3 ..2 high schoolers and 1 college kid and i feel like i am 18yrs old again!! love it!!
My fibromyalgia-suffering wife and I are definitely interested in any accessible cookbooks and recipies that make for an easier transition towards more paleoesque dietary goodness. Thanks!

Hi there. My family, including 3 little boys, have been paleo since April. We are loving it but additional inspiring books would be awesome. I liked your FB page and those of the others. Thank you!
I am impressed at how much reading you’ve done! Thanks for the reviews.
I already like a few of the authors’ FB pages, including EP … I’d go for all of these (already have ISWF–agree with your review!) … I think my next pick would have to be Make Shift Happen. I’m in a slump and any extra motivation/kick in the pants would do me good! Plus, I like the irreverent title.
Thank you for offering this giveaway! My family is new to Paleo & are rocking it! I have a two year old & a ten month old that I still give dairy to & they are never deprived of cake, ice cream, pizza, etc at parties but at home it’s all Paleo plus dairy & we ALL feel better. It’s amazing how it has changed my two year old’s attitude!!!
I need these books!
Hey! Just started the paleo lifestyle with my family (4yr old and 2yr old and my hubby) and am finding it challenging getting the 4yo to give up Mac and cheese! Would love some extra recipes and tips to keep everyone on board and continue with this lifestyle that has already changed us in such a short period of time!
I recently started CrossFit and that is where I first heard of the Paleo diet. I haven’t jumped into it fully yet mostly because I have no idea where to start so honestly any of these books would be a great help. I would love the 30 day intro book and will probably be purchasing the ebook this weekend. 8)
Pick me! Pick me! We are a family of 4. I have struggled with my weight my whole life. We have been on again off again paleo. I would love the books to help it be on again for life. I really want to change the course of my children’s lives to have them never struggle with food issues.
I also liked your facebook.
Liked everyday paleo on fb! Great giveaways!! I would love to have any of these!
Liked on FB. I am just starting out (literally this month) and am learning so much, but still so much to learn!
I purchased your cookbook Everyday Paleo earlier this year. It has changed my life. I love making recipes from it as well as recipes from your blog. The one that I make the most is Mom’s Mashed Yams. I make it weekly. In fact, I love it so much that my husband calls me “Yammers.” All the recipes that I have tried are so nutritious and yummy. Since I have been eating more paleo food in my diet, I have never felt so alive. When I went on Amazon, I was so excited to see that your Everyday Paleo Family cookbook was coming out in September. I can’t wait to try out some more paleo recipes!!!
Liked your FB page. I would love these books to continue my paleo journey.
I need to do this! I need the recipes
I liked the facebook page. All the books look interesting!
Liked and I’d love to have a paleo book to help keep me on track!
I have been Paleo for a month and love it! I am looking to have my twin 13 month old girls Paleo in 2 months. Dad will take a little more convincing! Please help!
I’ve liked you for a while now. I just finished reading Dallas and Melissa’s book too…a great read that helped reinforce that the choices I’ve been making are making me healthy, slowly but surely. What a blessing!
Have already been liking–no loving your FB! Just liked the others mentioned. Thanks for offering such great prizes and thanks for all you do for the Paleo community.
Liked you on FB! Oh wow! This looks like an amazing giveaway! I could really use some new motivation, and I love reading about paleo nutrition and cooking. I also will pass some of these wonderful books on to others when done and hopefully they will get as much out of them as I do.
Liked on FB!
I am 100% Paleo. Completely changed my life. I would like more material to spread to the people important to me. I want my loves ones to be as healthy as possible.
Would love one of these books since I am just starting to eat Paleo.
I already like your Facebook page (and most of the others you mentioned too!) I would love to win because I’m relatively new to paleo, and need to gather resources to help me on this journey. Your website has already been a massive help, with a number of your recipes now firm family favorites! Thank you!
Sarah, I’ve liked your page on facebook for quite some time and have now added Sweet Potato Power as one of my likes. Since going Paleo back in January the one area that I have struggled with is how to use my carbs. Not only getting enough vegetables in but in eating enough or maybe too much fruit a day. I have made a commitment to myself to stay Paleo and to bring the rest of my family as close as I can. I believe strongly that the more information I can absorb and the more tools that I have at my fingertips the better prepared I will be to face week to week food challenges.
Love it, wish I would have seen this before I made some of my book purchases last week, but one can never have too many books. Thanks
Hello Sarah,
I like your page and the other pages mentioned as well. This is an exciting give away. Love love love books!!
Hi Sarah! I “liked” your FB page. I think you’re an inspiration! Thank you for your work!
My husband and I are just starting out with the Paleo diet. And we can’t be more excited! I struggle with ideas for dinner and would love some ideas for that! We are feeling a littler overwhelmed and would really appreciate the help. When Googling something it’s like a bathroom stall ( you see everything!) so I truly hope I get picked, I would be truly thankful for the opportunity to better mine, my husbands, and my 2 small children (3yrs & 9mo). Thanks!!
I love reading the ‘Everyday Paleo’ status updates everyday. I have ‘liked’ the Everyday Paleo page for a while now. Great work
Thanks!
Already like you on facebook! Started Paleo about 2 months ago & had my second child 4 weeks ago. My husband is doing it with me & my son (hes almost 2) is eating Paleo with dairy We can’t believe how great we feel eating this way. My mother is making a gradual switch too because she says she always feels so good after eating a meal at our house! I would love any of these books as a resource to keep us motivated & also to have more information to share with family and friends. Thanks!
I need all the help I can get with the Paleo lifestyle. I have been doing low carb for about 6 months now. I lost weight at first but have really been stalled for the last couple of months. I have been reading some about Paleo and it really seems better for you. I am confused about which eating plan to go with probably because I really don’t know enough about the Paleo way. I want to learn so I can do what is best for my body. I am a senior citizen and I don’t see alot of others my age following this plan. I want to healthy, fit, and trim!
i liked you on Facebook… i’d love to win a copy of any of the books, I am still trying to decide if paleo is for me, any additional information is welcome!
I would love a copy of your book or practical paleo. I am starting my new life of living paleo to become healthy stronger and positive. I have used ur blog like my bible To help guide and shape my new life journey. I would love a copy of either book to help me along my journey!!!
Been paleo since January – lost 40 pounds easily that I have never been able to loose. More importantly I feel so much better. I can’t stop reading about it and I’m always looking for new recipes! Thanks for all the info and for sharing your recipes! I liked your FB page.
I have tried so many “diets” in an ongoing battle with IBS and joint pain. I have been reading a lot about the paleo lifestyle. From what I’ve read, I’m pretty inspired to try it. My biggest hurdle would be my family who love their processed carbs. I’d really like it to be a healthy change for the family not just me. My son has attention issues and anxiety and my daughter has hormonal issues. Need some fresh ideas to get them psyched to try it too!
I like your facebook page. I would love to win a book. I am getting bored with all of my go-to recipes, so it would be fun to try something new!
How super exciting is this! I’m Nat, a 21 year old nutrition university student from Australia and have been paleo for about a year. I cannot wait to graduate at the end of next year as a registered dietitian and continue to spread the paleo message down under here in AUS! I will be a happy little vegemite if I can contribute even half the amount of knowledge and inspiration that everyone over in the US and on this page has contributed. Keep up the good work!
Liked on facebook. We are new to Paleo so every little bit of info gained is a huge help! Thanks for the awesome book giveaway ! – Corinna
I would so love to win. I liked your page, and would love the food lovers book. Trying to make Paleo a whole family thing and not just my way of life. You guys have changed my life. Thank you
I have been following you and practical paleo. I started my paleo change back in March 2012 and I love it. A lot of people think I’m a little crazy but it is by far something that has worked for me and something that I love now. How can you not? I love to cook and I love to eat and with paleo I have the freedom to do both and feel great. It is so hard to believe how great I have been feeling since I started paleo and the transformation in my body and mood and just all around well being.
Hi. My husband and I are relative newbies (only 6 weeks in) to our new Paleo diet…and love it. Rob was diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease a little while ago and his Doctor suggested he loose weight and change his diet…he wanted him to loose 25 lbs. We thought we were healthy eaters but now looking back we were not. He and I are 10 lbs lighter around the middle and we feel so much better. My restless leg syndrome has disappeared, something I’ve had for years. Anyone of these books would be greatly welcomed in our household. I’m slowly turning my 21 and 18 year olds to the Paleo lifestyle with surprisingly little complaint. I love your site. Thanks.
Hi Sarah,
Your book has been awesome in helping me convert my family’s diet to paleo. I would love any of the books you are offering – I’m always searching for new recipes.
Can’t wait for your new book! Thanks for all you do in sharing your recipes, knowledge, and family with us all.
You are “liked”!
Thank you for sharing your life.
I am very interested in the paleo diet so I’d love to win one of the books to gain a little more knowledge!
I already liked your Faceoook page as well as another, and would love a copy to make things a little easier than looking up recipes online continuously!
Already liked your facebook page and liked anothe – would LOVE this!
I’d love to have another book to share with people who want to know more about Paleo, and I’m really excited to see the specialized diet plans in Practical Paleo!
I’ve been researching paleo for a few months now. My 8 year old son has stomach issues – and I have a feeling if we “go paleo”, they will clear up! I haven’t had the extra $$ to buy books or memberships to any of te websites – so wining a book would be great! Hint hint!
. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
Oops – I apologize for the typos ⬆ – typing on my phone!
Facebook page has been liked! So glad I found your blog!
Liked you on Facebook! I would love to have this fabulous collection to share with friends and family
I super liked your page. Lets go everyday paleo!
My family and I enjoy both your books, my kids really like making their favorite recipes from Paleo Pals. We have been Paleo since May 23rd, 2011 and the benefits have been min blowing to say the least and it keeps getting better and better. There is nothing like some simple to make, yet elegant and tasty meals to serve your family on a daily basis! I am anxiously awaiting the release of your next book…everything you do for everybody out in the Paleo world is done with such passion and zeal…I am glad to have met you, as well as being a part of your EPLifeFit.com…where with the knowledge and support bundled with your books makes it a big Win Win!
Pick me! Pick me! I would love to get any of these books to help convince the wife we need to get the whole family on the paleo wagon. Thanks
I would LOVE to win this giveaway. I have a newborn baby and have been reading about/looking into paleo for about six months. These resources would allow me to finally get started with a new lifestyle. Thank you for sharing your love of paleo!!
I was just introduced to the Paleo lifestyle when I commented to a group of my online mom-friends that I wasn’t sure what to eat because my breastfed 2 month old seemed to be both dairy-sensitive and whole grain-sensitive. Those food groups comprised roughly 80% of my diet and it never occurred to me that either were unnecessary or even possibly detrimental to my family’s health. One of my friends said, “some would argue that grains and dairy aren’t healthy” and that sparked my interest.
I checked out a copy of the Primal Blueprint Cookbook from the library and started following your blog via Facebook. We’ve been slowly transitioning our heavily dairy and grain diet to the Paleo diet and I’ve noticed my energy level go up and my baby-weight start to come off. However, with a 3 year old and a 3 month old, we could use the help and recipes to keep going on this journey to a very healthy lifestyle.
Thanks for doing what you do, which is keeping us on track and well-informed!
I liked you already! Thanks, Sarah, for being so inspiring?
Just getting started with paleo, so I can use all the good information I can get.
Like you on facebook, and I already “liked” whole9, balanced bites and Bill & Hayley!
I’d like to win these books because I’ve been struggling to go 100% paleo for over a year, but meeting resistance from my household. New recipes would be a good help, along with books to help them with understanding why a full transition would be completely beneficial to everyone involved and not just me.
Sadly since I’ve lost my job, I can’t afford to wrangle these wonderful tomes, even piece by piece until the unforseeable future.
I like Dean Dwyer on facebook too! In fact..I just downloaded his book. I read a preview last night and woke up thinking about there being no neutral food…knew it was for me!
My son reads your blog and always tells me how great paleo living is, so I would like to have a book on the subject to help me get started!
I “like” all of the above Facebook pages but what I really like is this giveaway! What an awesome way to help others support a paleo lifestyle! I am 4 months postpartum and juggling a 3-yr old and husband. I would love an opportunity to learn new
recipies and practical ways to incorporate into our lives! Thank you for the inspiration!
I liked your page!;) I have Everday Paleo and I LOVE IT!! It is the easiest “diet” book I have ever come across! I’d like to win the others and try to get my mom on board too!! Thank you so much for telling us your story and trying to get America fit again!
I liked all of these pages and I have recently been reading and researching the Paleo way of life and considering making some important changes in the way I feed and raise my family. We are small farmers and produce all of our own pasture-raised natural meat. I look forward to learning more through these books and great sites!
I have liked your page, I have been wanting all of these books for a while now
I hope I win one
Hi Sarah,
Thanks for everything! Your first book made the difference in my paleo journey.
I liked your Facebook page!
I am new to paleo also ! My daughter introduced me to it , she had your first book borrowed from the library. I have already liked you on facebook and last week discovered Food Lovers, Balanced Bites and a few more. Just added Sweet Potato to my likes. Love all the help and recipes these sites offer !
I love your cookbook and cannot wait for the new one to come out. My husband and I have been eating paleo for about 7 months and I am amazed at the difference in my body and mind. Alot of people always ask why I changed my eating habits and I tell them if they tried it then they would understand the difference making changes in what you are eating can make on your life.
I’m not on FB (yet) as I hesitate getting into more stuff that will keep me sitting being inactive, when I could be outside having fun. We just moved from a northern climate to Florida and had to minimize stuff that I could take with me, that would fit in our car. We gave away all our furniture, etc, and our life was reduced to what would fit into a 7×7 ft. POD, which would be in storage for a couple months. One of the few things (besides my pillow, and Vitamix) that followed me in the car through 3 moves in 7 weeks was Sarah’s Everyday Paleo book.
When we finally settled into our new house, in an “active” (I really mean ACTIVE) “over 55″ community, whenever new neighbors would come over to meet us, frequently the conversation would turn to health (or lack of). My husband would always go and grab Sarah’s book and show it to them.
Even though there are tons of physical activities here many of us baby-boomers (and older) are still doing the nutrition part wrong. We’re still stuck in the 70s, hippy vegetarian mode. I’d like to win the books, (and the gift certificate) so I can use them to start a paleo/primal club in my “retirement” community.
“Liked” it all! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
Would love to win! You are all changing lives and I respect the work you do. I love your book and recipes Sara – and so does my family!!
I already like all of your pages! I would love to win any of these books, it’s amazing the amount of paleo literature that’s out now and I love to learn something new!
Sarah can I start by saying that I love you blog!!! It has helped me out a lot. I’ve read your book and listened to every podcast. I listened to them every morning on my way to work during those first couple if weeks. I’m about 6-7weeks Paleo. The first week I tried to just make better food choices. The second week I just closed my eyes and dovehead first into the Paleo pool!!!! I feel great!
I have been following you on Facebook and listining to your podcasts. I would greatly appreciate the chance to win one of these books to add to my paleo library. I have preordered your new book through amazon, can’t wait for it to come out!
Thanks for sharing these book reviews! I’m already a fan of your Facebook page, and I went ahead and liked as many of the Facebook pages for the authors you reviewed that I could find (3 of them). Honestly, all of the books look fantastic and I’d love to win any of them! Happy 2 year blog anniversary!
Oops… I hadn’t seen that you had listed the links to everyone’s Facebook page! I went ahead and liked the other two as well. =)
I liked Balanced Bites Facebook!!
There are so many great books out there right now, I hardly know where to begin! Practical Paleo will be my next read. But, Everyday Paleo is still the first one I lend to friends who are getting started, and the recipes are pretty much in my brain at this point. Thanks for everything!
Oh, of course, I LOVED the FB page.
“Practical Paleo” sounds like it would be tremendous for my mom. She’s currently reading “It Starts with Food” and this is her first real exposure to paleo aside from seeing that I don’t eat the same foods anymore. She is on meds for diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure and suffers a host of other random ailments (like joint pain). She’s raised four kids and frankly, hasn’t taken care of herself in the process. Looking into her fridge is a scary window into a slow death – everything she eats is a processed food, right down to the Peter Pan “peanut butter” to all the breaded meats in the freezer. She is completely out of touch with natural, healthy foods and while “It Starts with Food” is a great way to begin to understand what SAD foods are doing to your body, I think she would benefit highly from a meal plan to get her started, especially one that respects some going into paleo already have some serious health issues. Plus, a book that speaks about these conditions really speaks to the reasons my mom wants to get healthy. She just seems to take them more seriously if there is any focus on those issues, and right now we NEED her to get serious with her health.
First of all, thank you for the links to all of these amazing resources. That is a “win” already. I “liked” them all on FB so I, hopefully, will have a constant stream of ideas and encouragement. I JUST started looking into the Paleo/Primal lifestyle seriously last night! I have tried SO many different diets and things. I am 49 and about 80 pounds too heavy. Within the past year I have switched to an integrative health specialist for my primary care physician and I have been on a fairly intense treatment plan with a very good chiropractor. I want to help my body heal itself. This seems like it might be the next step. (One of my high school besties is a Paleo convert. Her enthusiasm got me to consider it.)
I LOVE your books! I am doing my first 30 day strict, and it is easier than I was worried it would be.
I have to be off to work right now, but I will be going to each of the pages later to check them out!
Thanks!
I liked sweet potato power and food lovers a month ago!
I want to win because I do Crossfit and I can’t believe how a lot of people at my box don’t want to change their diet. I would like to make the book available to them at the box to share with members. I have most every Paleo cookbook out there (and can’t wait for your new one or for Practical Paleo). Every once in a while when I am caught up in the everyday world I pull out Well Fed to read again or Loren Cordain’s book. I look forward to having the book whether I win it or buy it:)
I would love to win these books! I have checked Everyday Paleo out from my local library about 5 times since starting my Paleo journey this year. Money is tight so I don’t usually buy books; I just go to the library. I would love to own my own copy of Everyday Paleo and/or any of the new Paleo books!
I liked your Facebook page, but I really like your blog! I have tried several recipes so far and each has been great. I stumbled across Paleo in my quest to find ways to improve my health. I think I have checked out every Paleo related book from the library, but it would be nice to have a permanent one on the bookshelf!
Just liked everything (just in time!).
I’d like these books so that I could start sharing this information with the people I care about the most.
Thank you for giving us all the opportunity to win these books and change our lives! I want any or all of these books so I can educate myself, my family and my friends on that reasons why Paleo works!
I have suffered from gastrointestinal problems for years and finally a doctor who scoped me said “Don’t eat wheat, well…pretty much don’t eat carbs either”. It was then in talking to a dear friend of mine that told me about you! It was amazing to see your unhealthy self and the new you. It was like looking into a mirror… I soooo want to finally feel well!
Thank you so much Sarah for saving the lives of so many!
<3 blessings
I already liked & follow you on facebook. I liked all the others. I have “It starts with food” & just recently got your book, Everyday Paleo, which I love. Would love any of the other books.
Excellent reviews! I am just starting to dip my toe in the Paleo way of life. I just purchased a couple of the book ( already had a couple as well). Looking forward to the motivational kick in the pants I’m about to receive from Dean Dwyer’s book!
I love reading your blog. Congratulations on your success, you have earned it!
I liked your FB page and love your book! Keep the great photos coming on your website and facebook.
Paleo has changed my life forever. I am now after 3 months 20lbs lighter and have so much more energy!
I “liked” your Facebook page!
I’m very interested in starting a Paleo lifestyle for me and my 6 year old son…and could really benefit from these books. PICK ME! PICK ME! PICK ME!!
I love having a goto cook book that I can mark favorites in and note any changes I may make! It also makes it easier to stay on track since the recipe is right on my kitchen counter!!
Love having actual books I can mark up. Also it’s so much easier to stay on track when recipes are right on my kitchen counter!
Subscribed to everyone, thanks for the great resources and the great contest!
I liked your page. I am trying to recover my health through paleo, and am a strong believer that you can never have too much information.
