  1. Helena Thate says:

Thank you so much for having a podcast about adrenal and thyroid issues. I’ve been looking for good resources that I don’t need someone with a medical degree to decode.

Probably 4-5 months ago, my doctor put me on two different thyroid meds to bring up my T3 and T4 levels. She upped the dose at least once (which consequently made me feel even worse). Since then, I’ve been looking for holistic and natural ways to treat my adrenal and thyroid issues including herbs and plants (like kelp flakes. bleh.), some lifestyle changes (trying to eat paleo as best I can, regulating my sleep more, reducing stress, trying to be more active, etc.). I also weaned myself off of the medications – 2 for thyroid and one for depression more than likely caused by chronic stress and therefore a possible symptom of adrenal and thyroid issues.

The only symptoms I have right now are near constant tiredness and hunger. Which in my opinion is better than the constant nausea, near manic-depressive symptoms and 5-6 hours of sleep I was getting every night.

Thank you again for helping me.

    Helena

  2. In your YT video on paleo mayo, the entire egg is used, not just the yolk. May I ask why?

    • Wonder how to get an answer……..

    • You can use either the whole egg or just the yolk, it’s entirely up to you. Either way works fine, but I like the richness of using just the yolk these days, but sometimes I’m lazy and just toss in the whole egg.
