    Loved the podcast! Speaking about calories for gains and ensuring you don’t lose more weight then needed I will say that from experience I ate paleo 3 meals a day until I was full and tracked nothing and got down to 135lbs. I started tracking calories to find I only ate 2000 calories a day on average, I’m trying to gain muscle with strength training and find calorie counting off and on helpful to ensure I eat enough food. Now I know what foods are more calorically dense and nutritionally dense.

    Hey I really enjoy your podcast and just wanted to throw this out there. Jason, I think you are great. I don’t know how often you play back your podcasts but, my man, you do a lot of talking down about yourself. I’m sure you don’t mean to do it destructively and that it stems from wanting to be a good and humble person, but I think you need to give yourself some more credit! It’s okay to talk about how blessed you are to have a beautiful wife and daughters without telling yourself how little you deserve them. You do deserve them. Positive thinking and positive self concept is also an important part of health! 😉 All the best to you both.
