Oh no, just when I think I have it figured out, those gooey, milk chocolate, melt in your mouth, sweet yolk filled eggs appear. Just when I think I have a handle on things, happily skipping through the grocery store, fruits, veggies and lean protein in hand. I stop in my tracks, and, what do I see peering at me across the way. When did they get here?
I happen to receive about 10 million emails a day and I really do try to get through all of them but honestly it would be impossible for me to reply personally to each one, otherwise emailing people would be all that I do. However, from time to time, people are persistent or the timing is right and I read an email that grabs me, yanks me in, and doesn’t let me go. That was the case with a recent email sent to me by Travis Martinez, owner of TX Bar Organics.
“Paleo Treat.” It’s been a big buzz in the paleosphere these days and I typically live in my own little bubble, ignoring the big buzzes and focusing on taking the best care of my family that I can and using what’s left of my energy dedicated to running this little blog, working on books, and helping to run EPLifeFit. I love doing what I do. I am extremely blessed. I am so grateful to be healthy and strong after so many years of not being healthy and strong and I am beyond happy that my kids are healthy, strong and thriving.
Readers often send me recipes that they have created, and this one looked so good I had to give it a try! Thank you Staci for sharing such a delicious dish with us, our whole family loved it! Now, I’ll pass it on to all of you.

My latest labor of love, Paleo Pals: Jimmy and the Carrot Rocket Ship is now off to print with a release date of February 14th! I had so much fun writing this book and it was truly a family driven project with Jaden and Rowan patiently listening over and over again as the story developed. My little ones were always eager to give their important and wise feedback that only an 8 and 4 year old can give, while my oldest son Coby and my husband John were instrumental with the development of this book. Thank you so much to my awesome little family for your undying support of my never ending ideas…
